FOREIGN TRADE IN GOODS OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

January – May 2008¹⁾

According to the provisional data, in the period from January to May 2008, the total export of the Republic of Croatia amounted to 27 343 million kuna. At the same time, the import was 62 568 million kuna. The foreign trade deficit amounted to 35 225 million kuna.

In the period from January to May 2008, the export, presented in millions of US dollars, amounted to 5 739, import to 13 151 and foreign trade deficit to 7 412 million US dollars.

In the period from January to May 2008, the export, presented in millions of euro, amounted to 3 758 and import to 8 601 million euro, while foreign trade deficit amounted to 4 842 million euro.

The coverage of import by export was 43.6%.
