FOREIGN TRADE IN GOODS OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

January – August 2008¹⁾

According to the provisional data, in the period from January to August 2008, the total export of the Republic of Croatia amounted to 45 981 million kuna. At the same time, the import was 101 885 million kuna. The foreign trade deficit amounted to 55 905 million kuna.

In the period from January to August 2008, the export amounted to 9 737, import to 21 570 and foreign trade deficit to 11 833 million US dollars.

In the period from January to August 2008, the export amounted to 6 337 million euro and import to 14 041 million euro, while foreign trade deficit amounted to 7 703 million euro.

The coverage of import by export was 45.1%.
