FOREIGN TRADE IN GOODS OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

January – August 2009¹⁾

According to the provisional data, in the period from January to August 2009, the total export of the Republic of Croatia amounted to 36 267 million kuna. At the same time, the import was 74 086 million kuna. The foreign trade deficit amounted to 37 820 million kuna.

In the period from January to August 2009, the export amounted to 6 645, import to 13 583 and foreign trade deficit to 6 938 million US dollars.

In the period from January to August 2009, the export amounted to 4 920 million euro and import to 10 049 million euro, while foreign trade deficit amounted to 5 130 million euro.

The coverage of import by export was 48.9%.
