PERSONS IN EMPLOYMENT BY ACTIVITY AND BY SEX

2008 − final data

The National Classification of Activities, 2007 version – NKD 2007. entered into force on 1 January 2008 (NN No. 58/07 and 72/07).

This classification has a different structure compared to NKD 2002. and  significant changes that occured in the National Classification of Activities – NKD 2007. were published in the Methodology for Statistical Application of National Classification of Activities 2007 – NKD 2007. (NN, No 102/07 and 123/08).

This Release presents final data for the year 2008, by months and sex according to the NKD 2002. and the NKD 2007 due to comparability of the data. The correction of the number of persons in employment was done on the basis of the RAD-1G annual survey with full coverage, situation as on 31 March 2008, and regular monthly surveys that cover approximately 70% of persons in employment from each division of NKD 2002. and NKD 2007.

The data include the estimates of persons in paid employment in legal entities employing less than 10 persons for whom the reports were not received. The data do not include persons employed in trades and crafts and free lances and insured persons − private farmers.

On the basis of the final data on persons in employment in legal entities in 2008, we issue data on the labour force and registered unemployment rates by months and by sex.
