REGISTRATION INTO THE REGISTER OF BUSINESS ENTITIES

 

The Croatian Bureau of Statistics (CBS) keeps the Register of Business Entities based on the Act on the National Classification of Economic Activities (NN, No. 98/94), the Decision on the National Classification of Activities – NKD 2007. (NN, Nos. 58/07 and 72/07) and the Regulation on the Classification of Business Entities according to the National Classification of Activities – NKD 2007. (NN, No. 80/07). The Register of Business Entities cover all legal entities, state government bodies, bodies of local and regional self-government units and parts thereof. On registration into the Register of Business Entities, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics issues to business entities and parts thereof the Notification on the Classification of Business Entities according to the NKD 2007.

 

 

FOR REGISTRATION, THE BUSINESS ENTITY SHOULD DO THE FOLLOWING:

 

  1. fill in the form RPS-1 (it can be bought in Narodne novine or printed from our Internet pages) and verify it with a director's signature and a stamp of a business entity
  2. submit a copy of a decision on registration with a competitive body
  3. pay in the amount of money defined for compensation for entrance into the Register of Business Entities, which is in line with the price list of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (payment slip is attached).

FOR REGISTRATION OF A PART OF A BUSINESS ENTITY, THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE DONE:

 

  1. fill in the form RPS-2 (it can be bought in Narodne novine or printed from our Internet pages) and verify it with a director's signature and a stamp of a business entity
  2. submit either a copy of the Decision on Establishment of a Part of the Business Entity or a copy of an arrangement issued by a competent body on meeting conditions prescribed by law or a copy of an arrangement on registration of a part of the business entity into a special register
  3. pay in the amount of money defined for compensation for entrance into the Register of Business Entities, which is in line with the price list of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (payment slip is attached).

A BUSINESS ENTITY REGISTERS A PART OF A BUSINESS ENTITY IF:

 

  1. it has a branch office, plant etc. which are registered with a competent body
  2. it has parts which are either not registered with a competent body and which are engaged, at a different location, that is, in different headquarters, in the same or different activity or which are engaged, at the same address, that is, in the same headquarters, in a different activity
  3. it has offices, branch offices, stations etc., as defined by a regulation.
