GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT - FIRST ESTIMATE
Quarterly Gross Domestic Product for Third Quarter of 2016
- According to the first estimate the quarterly gross domestic product
for the third quarter of 2016
increased in the real terms by 2.9% as compared to the same quarter of
2015.
AVERAGE NET EARNINGS
The average monthly paid off net earning per person in paid employment in legal
entities of the Republic of Croatia
for November 2016 amounted to 5 805 kuna.
AVERAGE GROSS EARNINGS
The average monthly gross earning per person in paid employment in legal
entities in the Republic of Croatia
for November 2016 amounted to 7 959 kuna.
CONSUMER PRICE INDICES
Prices
of goods and services for personal consumption, measured by consumer
price indices,
- in December 2016, decreased by 0.2% at the average as compared to
November 2016
- increased by 0.2%, as compared to December 2015
REGISTERED UNEMPLOYMENT RATE
The
registered unemployment rate for December 2016 was 14,8%.

RETAIL TRADE TURNOVER IN
NOVEMBER 2016
I The retail trade turnover in real terms, generated in November 2016 by all
business entities engaged in that activity irrespective of their main activity,
was by 2.7% higher than in November 2015 (working-day adjusted data).
Compared to October 2016, it was in real terms by 1.6% lower (seasonally and
working-day adjusted data).
II The total retail trade turnover in real terms, generated in November 2016 by
all business entities with the retail trade as their main activity (retail
traders), was by 0.3% lower than in November 2015 (working-day adjusted data).
Compared to October 2016, it was in real terms by 2.3% lower (seasonally and
working-day adjusted data).

TOURIST
ACTIVITY OF POPULATION OF REPUBLIC OF CROATIA, 2014
There were 1.8 million, or 49%, of the Croatian population aged 15 and
over who went in 2014 for at least one personal trip with overnight
stay. There was the total of 6.6 million personal trips, of which 4.6
million (70%) took place in Croatia and 2 million (30%) abroad. The most
visited country during those trips was Bosnia and Herzegovina (23%),
followed by Austria and Slovenia (13% each), Italy (9%) and Germany
(8%).
