The Central Bureau of Statistics of Croatia has received financing from
the World Bank toward the cost of the Statistical Master Plan for the
Government of Croatia. The purpose of the Grant is to strengthen CBS
statistical capacity by developing a Statistical Master Plan (SMP), an
action plan for reorganization and strengthening the National
Statistical System (NSS), which would be able to provide the type of
quality statistics required for entering into the EU in a cost effective
manner.
