EARLY ESTIMATES OF AREAS SOWN WITH IMPORTANT CROPS, 2010

U ovom priopćenju objavljuju se rane procjene zasijanih površina za najvažnije usjeve. Od odabranih najvažnijih ratarskih usjeva, procjenjuje se da su povećane površine pod kukuruzom, sojom, suncokretom te šećernom repom, u odnosu na 2009. Najznačajniji porast bilježe površine pod sojom, i to 24%. Procjenjuje se da su površine zasijane krumpirom smanjene za 6%, kao i površine zasijane uljanom repicom, koje su smanjene za 48% uslijed nepovoljnih vremenskih prilika ujesen 2009.

In this release, early estimates of areas sown with the most important crops are issued. As compared to 2009, regarding the selected most important crops, it is estimated that there was an increase in the areas sown with maize, soya beans, sunflower and sugar beets. The most significant increase, of as much as 24%, was recorded for areas sown with soya beans. The estimation of areas sown with potatoes shows that they decreased by 6% compared to the previous year as well as those sown with rape seed, which decreased by 48% due to bad weather in autumn 2009.

Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka			Sources and methods of data collection
Podaci o ranim procjenama o zasijanim površinama za važnije ratarske usjeve odnose se na stanje 1. lipnja. Ti su podaci prve informacije koje izdaje Državni zavod za statistiku o stanju zasijanih površina na kraju proljetne sjetve. Obuhvaćeni su sljedeći usjevi: pšenica, kukuruz, soja, uljana repica, suncokret, šećerna repa i krumpir.			Data on early estimates of areas sown with important crops refer to the situation as on 1 June. These data are first information issued by the Central Bureau of Statistics on the situation of land sown at the end of spring harvest. The following crops are included: wheat, maize, soya beans, rape seed, sunflowers, sugar beets and potatoes.
Podaci o zasijanim površinama za važnije usjeve ocijenjeni su u Državnom zavodu za statistiku na temelju:			Data on land sown with important crops have been estimated by the Central Bureau of Statistics on the following bases:
-	rezultata Izvještaja o površinama i nasadima na kraju proljetne sjetve u 2009. (PO -22)		-	results of the Report on Utilised Areas and Land Sown at the End of Spring Harvest in 2009 (PO-22 form),
-	rezultata Izvještaja o jesenskoj sjetvi (PO-21) u 2009.		-	results of the Report on Autumn Harvest in 2009 (PO-21 form),
-	raspoloživih administrativnih izvora Ministarstva poljoprivrede, ribarstva iruralnog razvoja te drugih.		-	available administrative sources of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development as well as other ones.
Obuhvat i usporedivost			Coverage and comparability
Izvještajne jedinice jesu poslovni subjekti i dijelovi poslovnih subjekata koji su definirani područjem A Poljoprivreda, šumarstvo i ribarstvo prema NKD-u 2007. Obuhvat je selektivan. Podaci se prikupljaju izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.			Reporting units are business entities and parts thereof defined in section A Agriculture, forestry and fishing according to the NKD 2007. The coverage is selective. Data are collected on reports that are sent by mail to the Central Bureau of Statistics.
Izvještajne jedinice su također i obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva koja obavljaju poljoprivrednu proizvodnju, a njihovi podaci prikupljeni su uz pomoć anketara.			Reporting units are also private family farms engaged in agricultural production, for which interviewers collect data.
