AREAS AND PRODUCTION OF CEREALS AND OTHER CROPS, 2009 – previous data

Ostvareni prirod kukuruza u 2009. iznosi 2 168 000 tona što je za 13% manje od prošlogodišnjega konačnoga ostvarenog priroda. Također je smanjen ukupan prirod i za ostale važnije kasne usjeve i to: šećerne repe za 17%, prirod krumpira za 6%, prirod soje za 6%, prirod lucerne za 10% i prirod djetelina i mješavina za 15%. Prirod suncokreta prema prethodnim podacima iznosi 120 000 tona i ostao je na istoj razini kao i prošle godine.

The actual yield of maize in 2009 amounted to 2 168 000 tonnes, which was by 13% less than the final actual yield last year. The total yield of other important late crops also decreased. Thus, sugar beets decreased by 17%, potatoes by 6%, soya-beans by 6%, alfalfa by 10% and clover and mixtures by 15%. The yield of sunflower, according to the previous data, amounted to 120 000 tonnes and it remained at the same level as the last year.

Smanjenje priroda usjeva uzrokovano je smanjenim prirodima po hektaru na što su utjecale nepovoljne vremenske prilike.

The decrease in the yield of crops was caused by a decrease of yields per hectare, which was due to bad weather.

METODOLOŠKA OBJAŠNJENJA

Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka

Izvještajem o ostvarenim prirodima kasnih usjeva i voća (PO-33a i PO-33b) prikupljaju se podaci o požnjevenim površinama i ostvarenim prirodima kasnih usjeva. Podaci o požnjevenim površinama kasnih usjeva iskazuju se u hektarima, dok su proizvodnja i prirod po jednom hektaru iskazani u tonama.

NOTES ON METHODOLOGY

Source and methods of data collection

The data on harvested areas and actual yield of late crops are collected through the Report on Actual Yield of Late Crops (PO-33a and PO-33b forms). Data on harvested areas of late crops are presented in hectares, while total yield and yield per hectare are presented in tonnes.

Podaci su prikupljeni posebno za poslovne subjekte i njihove dijelove, a posebno za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva. Podaci za poslovne subjekte prikupljaju se izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.

These data are collected separately for legal entities and parts thereof and for private family farms. Data concerning business entities are collected by reporting method and the reports are delivered by mail to the Central Bureau of Statistics.

Podaci za poljoprivredna kućanstva prikupljeni su pomoću anketara metodom intervjua na odabranome stratificiranom uzorku. Uzorak za poljoprivredna kućanstva izabran je iz osnovnog skupa na bazi Popisa poljoprivrede 2003.

Data for private family farms have been collected by using the interview method applied to a selected sample. The sample for private family farms was selected from the basic group according to the 2003 Agricultural Census.

U ovom istraživanju primijenjena je definicija poljoprivrednoga gospodarstva prema europskim kriterijima.

In this survey, the definition of an agricultural farm has been applied in accordance with the EU standards.

Na veličinu uzorka utjecala su odobrena sredstva u Državnom proračunu Republike Hrvatske za 2009. i udio poljoprivrednih gospodarstava po županijama. U uzorak je odabrano oko 10 000 kućanstava.

The sample size was conditioned by the financial means allocated from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia and the share of agricultural farms by counties. The sample consisted of about 10 000 households.

Za poljoprivredna gospodarstva koja ne zadovoljavaju navedenu definiciju i nisu obuhvaćena osnovnim skupom za izbor uzorka, podaci su procijenjeni prema kretanju pojava u uzorku i dodani su uzorku.

The data obtained from the agricultural farms to which the stated definition did not apply and that were not included in the basic group, have been estimated according to changes in the phenomena within a sample and added to the sample data.

Svi ekspandirani podaci uspoređeni su s podacima prijašnjih godina, podacima Popisa poljoprivrede 2003. te raspoloživim administrativnim izvorima (Upisnik poljoprivrednih gospodarstava Ministarstva poljoprivrede, ribarstva i ruralnog razvoja te drugi). Na temelju svih raspoloživih podataka prema potrebi napravljene su korekcije.

All expanded data were compared to data from previous years, 2003 Agricultural Census data and available administrative sources (the Address Book of Private Family Farms of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development etc.). On the basis of all available data, corrections were done if necessary.

Podaci o prirodima odnose se na stanje 10. studenoga 2009.

Data on yields refer to the situation as on 10 November 2009.

Obuhvat i usporedivost

Izvještajne jedinice jesu poslovni subjekti i dijelovi poslovnih subjekata koji su preuzeti iz Registra poslovnih subjekata, a definirani su područjem A Poljoprivreda, šumarstvo i ribarstvo prema Nacionalnoj klasifikaciji djelatnosti 2007. (NN, br. 58/07. i 72/07.). Obuhvat je selektivan. Podaci se prikupljaju izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.

Coverage and comparability

Reporting units are business entities and parts thereof taken over from the Register of Business Entities, which are defined in section A Agriculture, forestry and fishing according to the National Classification of Activities, 2007 version (NN, No. 58/07 and 72/07). The coverage is selective. Data are collected on reports that are sent by mail to the Central Bureau of Statistics.

Izvještajne jedinice su i kućanstva koja obavljaju poljoprivrednu proizvodnju, a njihovi podaci prikupljeni su uz pomoć anketara. Poljoprivredna kućanstva izabrana su iz baze podataka Popisa poljoprivrede 2003.

Reporting units are also households engaged in agricultural production, for which interviewers collected data. Private family farms have been selected from the 2003 Agricultural Census data base.

Definicije

Požnjevene površine jesu površine s kojih je požnjeven usjev i ubran prirod.

Definitions

Harvested areas are areas on which crops and yield have been harvested.

Ostvareni prirod jest prirod koji se dobije nakon žetve po odbitku količina izgubljenih prije žetve, u tijeku prijevoza, kombajniranja itd.

Budući da vlažnost žitarica varira zbog različitih vremenskih prilika, ostvareni prirod iskazuje se kao prirod normalne vlažnosti, tj. prirod zrna s 14% vlage.

Actual yield is a yield obtained after the harvest by deduction of all losses before the harvest and during the transport and combine-harvesting etc.

Since the moisture of cereals may vary due to the weather conditions, the actual yield is presented as an averagely moisture yield, that is, grains estimated with 14% of moisture.
