U
procesu prilagodbe statistici EU-a u 2009. Državni zavod za statistiku proveo je prvi put bazno istraživanje o strukturi voćnjaka. Bazno
istraživanje o nasadima određenih vrsta voćaka (jabuke, kruške, breskve,
marelice, naranče, limuni i sitni agrumi) provodi se svakih pet godina kako
bi se ocijenio proizvodni potencijal intenzivnih voćnjaka s kojih se
proizvodi voće pretežno za tržište. Stoga je ukupna istraživana površina
manja od ukupne površine voćnjaka registrirane u redovitim godišnjim
statistikama, s obzirom na to da su godišnjim statistikama obuhvaćene sve
proizvodne površine. U ovom priopćenju objavljuju se prethodni podaci
vezani uz strukturu voćnjaka: neto površine po vrstama voća, gustoći nasada
i starosti voćaka.

In the process of to the harmonisation with the EU
statistics, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics conducted in 2009 a basic survey on the structure of orchards. The basic survey on plantations of certain species
of fruit trees (apples, pears, peaches, apricots, oranges, lemons and small
citrus fruit) is conducted every five years to assess the production
potential of intensive orchards from which fruit is produced for the
market. Therefore, the survey area is smaller than the overall area of
orchards registered in the regular annual statistics, having in mind that
the annual statistics include all production areas. This release presents previous data related to the structure of the
orchard; net area by fruit species, density classes as well as age classes.

U
strukturi voćnjaka najviše je nasada pod jabukama, 25,1%, šljivama,
22,1%, orasima, 14,3%, lješnjacima, 8,3%, višnjom, 8,2%, breskvama i
nektarinama, 7,5%, te mandarinama 6,0%, dok ostale voćne vrste zauzimaju
8,5% neto površine.

In the structure of orchards, the most plantations
are cultivated by apples (25.1%), plums (22.1%), walnuts (14.3%), hazelnuts
(8.3%), sour cherries (8.2%), peaches and nectarines (7.5%) and mandarins
(6.0%), while other fruit species occupy 8.5% of the net area.

|
Baznim istraživanjem o strukturi voćnjaka (PO-VOĆE)
prikupljaju se podaci o površini intenzivnih voćnjaka prema voćnim vrstama
i sortama voća. Ti podaci prikupljeni su posebno za poslovne subjekte i
njihove dijelove, a posebno za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva.
Podaci za poslovne subjekte i njihove dijelove prikupljaju se izvještajima
koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.

Data on
areas of intensive orchards by fruit species and varieties by species are
collected by the Basic Survey on Orchard Structure (PO-VOCE form). These
data are collected separately for business entities and parts thereof and
for private family farms. Data concerning business entities and parts
thereof are collected by using the reporting method and the reports are
delivered by mail to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.

Podaci za poljoprivredna gospodarstva prikupljeni su
uz pomoć anketara metodom intervjua na odabranome stratificiranom uzorku.
Uzorak za poljoprivredna gospodarstva izabran je iz Statističkog registra
poljoprivrednih gospodarstava. Osnovni skup obuhvaća gospodarstva koja se
koriste intenzivnim nasadom voća od 0,1 ha i većim pod uvjetom da je proizvedeno voće uglavnom namijenjeno tržištu.

Data for private family farms are collected by using
the interview method applied to a selected stratified sample. The sample
for private family farms was selected from the Statistical Register of
Agricultural Holdings. The sampling frame comprised agricultural holdings
with 0.1 and more hectares of utilised area of orchards, provided that the
fruit produced is entirely or mainly intended for the market.

Na veličinu uzorka utjecala su odobrena sredstva u
Državnom proračunu Republike Hrvatske za 2009. i udio poljoprivrednih
gospodarstava po regijama. U uzorak su odabrana 5 033 poljoprivredna
gospodarstva s time da su gospodarstva koja koriste više od 2,0 ha voćnjaka obuhvaćena u cijelosti (2 228 gospodarstava).

The
sample size was conditioned by the financial means allocated from the 2009
State Budget of the Republic of Croatia and the share of agricultural farms
by statistical regions. The sample consisted of 5 033 agricultural
holdings, providing that holdings are using more than 2.0 hectares of orchards covered in full (2 228 holdings).

Svi
ekspandirani podaci uspoređeni su s podacima prijašnjih godina, podacima
Popisa poljoprivrede 2003. te raspoloživim administrativnim izvorima
(Upisnik poljoprivrednih gospodarstava pri Agenciji za plaćanja u
poljoprivredi, ribarstvu i ruralnom razvoju te drugi). Na temelju svih
raspoloživih podataka prema potrebi napravljene su korekcije.

All
expanded data were compared to data from previous years, the 2003
Agricultural Census data and available administrative sources (the Register
of Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development etc.). On
the basis of all available data, corrections were done when necessary.

2007. Obuhvat je selektivan. Podaci se prikupljaju izvještajima koji se
poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.

units are business entities and parts thereof defined in section A
Agriculture, forestry and fishing according to the NKD 2007. The coverage
is selective. Data are collected on reports that are submitted by mail to
the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.

jedinice jesu i obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva koja koriste
najmanje 0,10 ha voćnjaka i uglavnom proizvode voće za tržište, a njihovi

Voćnjaci su
zemljišta zasađena voćnim stablima; mogu biti čisti ili miješani nasadi.
Baznim istraživanjem o strukturi voćnjaka obuhvatit će se površine voćnjaka
od 0,1 ha i veće, odnosno oni voćni nasadi čija je proizvodnja pretežno
namijenjena prodaji. U pravilu su to veći nasadi voćnih stabala i
bobičastog voća (isključujući jagode) uređeni tako da imaju određeni razmak
između stabala i razmaka u redu te se, u pravilu, u njima može vršiti
mehanizirana obrada.

Orchards are
areas planted with fruit trees, which may be pure or mixed plantations. The
basic Survey on the Structure of Orchards will cover the area of 0.1 hectares of orchards and larger, that is, fruit plantations whose production is mainly intended
for sale. As a rule, they are larger plantations of fruit trees or berries
(excluding strawberries), cultivated with a certain distance between trees
and space in a row and, as a rule, can provide a mechanised processing.

Vrsta
voća
jest skupina voćaka koje imaju zajedničke karakteristike i međusobno se
razmnožavaju, razlikuju se po vremenu dozrijevanja, sastojcima,
upotrebljivosti i trajnosti. U Republici Hrvatskoj uspijevaju sljedeće
najvažnije vrste voća: šljive, jabuke, kruške, trešnje, višnje, breskve i
nektarine, marelice, smokve, orasi, lješnjaci, bademi, mandarine, naranče,
limuni, ostalo voće (d.n.) te bobičasto voće (ribizi, maline, kupine, ogrozd
i dr.).

Species
of fruit trees are groups of fruits with common
characteristics and they can interbreed. They differ in to the time of
ripening, ingredients, use and length of use. In the
Republic of Croatia, the following fruit species are grown: plums, apples,
pears, sweet cherries, sour cherries, peaches and nectarines, apricots,
figs, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, mandarins, oranges, lemons and other
fruits (elsewhere classified) as well as berries (blackcurrants,
raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries etc.).

Varieties
refer
to the plants of the same fruit species that differ by their
characteristics from other plants of the same species.

vrste voća obuhvaćaju: bobičasto voće, kestene, dunje, kivi,
šipak i ostalo.

fruits are stone fruits, chestnuts, quinces,
kiwi fruits, pomegranate and other.

does not include turning and cultivation zones for machinery.
