CONSTRUCTION WORK INDICES, JANUARY 2010

Građevinski radovi u siječnju 2010. u odnosu na siječanj 2009. manji su za 18,4%.		In January 2010 construction works decreased by 18.4%, as compared to January 2009.
U siječnju 2010. :		In January 2010 :
-	prema vrstama građevina, na zgradama je odrađeno 49,7% ukupnih sati rada, a na ostalim građevinama 50,3%	-	by type of constructions, 49.7% out of the total working hours were done on buildings and 50.3% on civil engineering works;
-	prema vrstama gradnje, na novim je građevinama odrađeno   60,8% ukupnih sati rada, a na rekonstrukcijama, popravcima i održavanju 39,2%.	-	by type of works, 60.8% out of the total working hours were done on new constructions and 39.2% on reconstructions, repairs and maintenance.

METODOLOŠKA OBJAŠNJENJA		NOTES ON METHODOLOGY
Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka		Sources and methods of data collection
U ovom priopćenju iskazani su podaci prikupljeni izvještajnom metodom s pomoću obrasca Mjesečni izvještaj građevinarstva (GRAĐ-21/M).		Data on construction presented in this publication is collected through reporting method by using the Monthly Report on Construction (GRAĐ-21/M form).
Obuhvat i usporedivost		Coverage and comparability
Mjesečni izvještaj građevinarstva prikuplja se za pravne osobe ili njihove dijelove s dvadeset i više zaposlenika koje su u Registru poslovnih subjekata prema NKD-u 2007. razvrstane u područje F Građevinarstvo. Prosječno se godišnje obuhvaća oko 900 izvještajnih jedinica.		The Monthly Report on construction is collected from legal entities and parts  thereof employing 20 or more persons classified in the Register of Business Entities to section F Construction according to the NKD 2007. About 900 reporting units are included in the average annual dynamics.
Podaci se odnose na građevinske radove (na novim građevinama, rekonstrukcijama, popravcima i održavanju postojećih građevina) izvršene na području Republike Hrvatske.		Data refer to all construction works (new constructions and reconstructions, maintenance and repair works on existing constructions) done on the territory of the Republic of Croatia
Obuhvat građevinske djelatnosti u skladu je s područjem F Građevinarstvo u NKD-u 2007. (NN, br. 58/07.). Razvrstavanje građevina i radova izvršeno je prema Klasifikaciji vrsta građevina. Obje su navedene klasifikacije usklađene s odgovarajućim klasifikacijama koje propisuje Eurostat (NACE rev. 2, Classifications of Types of Constructions – CC, final version).		The coverage of construction activities is harmonised with the NKD 2007. section F Construction (NN, No. 58/07). Constructions and works are classified according to the Classifications of Types of Constructions − KVG. Both classifications are harmonised with appropriate classifications prescribed by Eurostat (NACE rev. 2; Classifications of Types of Constructions − CC, final version).
Metoda izračunavanja indeksa		Index method
Indeks fizičkog obujma građevinskih radova temelji se na odrađenim satima radnika na gradilištima, prema Metodologiji za kratkoročne industrijske pokazatelje Statističkog ureda Europske unije – Eurostata (Methodology of short-term business statistics, eurostat 2002).		Total volume index of construction is based on the number of hours worked on sites, according to the Methodology of short-Term Business Statistics, Eurostat 2002.
Desezoniranje je provedeno s pomoću programskog sučelja "Demetra" - Eurostat, verzija 2.2, primjenom metode TRAMO/SEATS (verzija iz travnja 2005.) na mjesečnoj seriji indeksa (Ø 2005. = 100) koja počinje indeksom za siječanj 1998.		The seasonal adjustment was done by applying the programme interface "Demetra", version 2.2 – Eurostat by using the TRAMO/SEATS Method (version of April 2005) on monthly index series (Ø 2005 = 100), which begins with the index for January 1998.
Trend indeksi jesu serija desezoniranih indeksa iz koje je isključen utjecaj slučajne komponente. Produžavanje originalne serije indeksa dodavanjem novih mjesečnih podataka može zbog karakteristika primijenjene metode desezoniranja prouzročiti naknadne promjene vrijednosti desezonirane serije i trenda za nekoliko mjeseci unatrag.		The trend indices are a series of seasonally adjusted indices with the exclusion of the influence of random components. The prolongation of the original index series by adding new monthly data may cause subsequent changes in seasonally adjusted series and trend for several previous months, due to characteristics of the applied method of seasonal adjustment.
Desezonirane serije indeksa fizičkog obujma građevinskih radova izračunane metodom TRAMO/SEATS usporedive su s onima koje objavljuje Eurostat.		Seasonally adjusted series of volume indices of construction works calculated by using the TRAMO/SEATS Method are comparable to those published by Eurostat.
Korisnicima ovih podataka treba napomenuti da se do veljače 2009. primjenjivala metoda X-12-ARIMA (verzija 0.2.8), a metoda TRAMO/SEATS primjenjuje se od ožujka 2009. Zato su svi podaci za prijašnje mjesece, odnosno serije podataka za prijašnje godine, također ponovno obrađeni metodom TRAMO/SEATS.		We have a special note to users of these data: until February 2009, the X-12-ARIMA Method was implemented (0.2.8 version), while the TRAMO/SEATS Method has been implemented since March 2009. This is the reason why all data for previous months, that is, data series for previous years, have also been processed by using the TRAMO/SEATS Method.
