U ovom priopćenju objavljuju se podaci o ostvarenome fizičkom obujmu poštanskih, kurirskih i telekomunikacijskih usluga.	This release reports on data on realised volume of the postal, courier and telecommunication services.
Broj pismonosnih usluga u četvrtom tromjesečju 2010. u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2009. bilježi pad od 10,6%. Broj paketnih usluga u četvrtom tromjesečju 2010. u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2009. bilježi porast od 8,1%. Promatrano na godišnjoj razini, pismonosne usluge zabilježile su pad od 7,6%, a paketne usluge porasle su za 0,1% u 2010. u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2009.	In the fourth quarter of 2010, the total number of postal letters decreased by 10.6%, as compared to the same period of 2009. In the fourth quarter of 2010, the total number of parcels increased by 8.1%, as compared to the same period of 2009. At the annual level, the number of postal letters decreased in 2010 by 7.6%, while the number of parcels increased by 0.1%, as compared to the same period of 2009.
Broj utrošenih minuta u nepokretnoj mreži u četvrtom tromjesečju 2010. u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2009. bilježi porast od 0,8%. Promatrano na godišnjoj razini, zabilježen je pad od 0,4% u 2010., u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2009.	The number of minutes spent in the immobile telephone network increased in the fourth quarter of 2010 by 0.8%, as compared to the same period of 2009. At the annual level, this number decreased by 0.4% in 2010, as compared to the same period of 2009.
Broj utrošenih minuta u pokretnoj mreži u četvrtom tromjesečju 2010. u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2009. bilježi porast od 4,0%. Promatrano na godišnjoj razini, zabilježen je pad od 0,2% u 2010., u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2009.	The number of minutes spent in the mobile telephone network increased in the fourth quarter of 2010 by 4.0%, as compared to the same period of 2009. At the annual level, this number decreased by 0.2% in 2010, as compared to the same period of 2009.
U četvrtom tromjesečju 2010. poslano je 817 milijuna SMS poruka, što je za 2,4% više u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2009. Promatrano na godišnjoj razini, zabilježen je pad od 10,2% u 2010., u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2009.	In the fourth quarter of 2010, there were 817 million SMS messages sent, which was by 2.4% more than in the same period of 2009. At the annual level, this number decreased by 10.2% in 2010, as compared to the same period of 2009.
U četvrtom tromjesečju 2010. poslano je 6 586 tisuća MMS poruka, što je za 18,8% više u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2009. Promatrano na godišnjoj razini, zabilježen je pad od 3,3% u 2010., u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2009.	In the fourth quarter of 2010, there were 6 586 thousand MMS messages sent, which was by 18.8% more than in the same period of 2009. At the annual level, this number decreased by 3.3% in 2010, as compared to the same period of 2009.

Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka		Sources and methods of data collection
Podaci o poštanskim i kurirskim uslugama prikupljeni su izvještajnom metodom s pomoću obrasca Tromjesečni izvještaj o poštanskim i kurirskim uslugama (obrazac P-PT/T-11). Izvori podataka jesu poslovni subjekti.		Data on postal and courier services are collected by using the reporting method through the Quarterly Reports on Postal Traffic (P-PT/T-11 form). Data sources are business entities.
Podaci o telekomunikacijskim uslugama preuzeti su od   Hrvatske agencije za poštu i elektroničke komunikacije.		Data on telecommunication services are taken over from the Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency.
Obuhvat		Coverage
Podatke o poštanskim i kurirskim uslugama dostavljaju pravne osobe koje su registrirane ili se bave djelatnošću iz odjeljka 53 prema NKD-u 2007. (Poštanske i kurirske djelatnosti).		Data on postal and courier services are submitted by legal entities that are either registered or are engaged in the activity classified in division 53 according to the NKD 2007. (Postal and courier activities).
Poštanske i kurirske usluge obuhvaćaju usluge dostave pismonosnih pošiljki, usluge dostave paketa te usluge dostave brzojava.		Postal and courier services comprise services of delivery of postal letters, delivery of parcels and delivery of telegrams.
Pismonosne usluge obuhvaćaju broj pismonosnih i EMS pošiljaka prispjelih u unutarnji promet, odnosno broj pismonosnih pošiljaka primljenih iz inozemstva i otpremljenih u inozemstvo u međunarodnom prometu.		Postal letter services include the number of EMS items received in the domestic traffic, that is, the number of postal letters received from abroad and posted abroad in the international traffic.
Paketne usluge obuhvaćaju broj paketnih pošiljaka prispjelih u unutarnji promet, odnosno broj paketnih pošiljaka primljenih iz inozemstva i otpremljenih u inozemstvo u međunarodnom prometu.		Parcels include the number of parcels received in the domestic traffic, that is, the number of parcels received from abroad and posted abroad in the international traffic.
Telekomunikacijske usluge obuhvaćaju telekomunikacijski promet ostvaren u nepokretnoj mreži i pokretnim mrežama.		Telecommunication services include the telecommunication traffic realised in immobile and mobile telephone network.
Utrošene minute u nepokretnoj mreži obuhvaćaju ukupni promet ostvaren u unutarnjem i međunarodnom prometu i izražen u jedinici vremena – minutama. Unutarnji promet obuhvaća ukupno ostvaren promet unutar vlastite nepokretne mreže prema drugim nepokretnim mrežama i promet prema pokretnim mrežama. Međunarodni promet obuhvaća ukupno ostvaren promet u nepokretnim mrežama koji počinje unutar Republike Hrvatske i završava izvan Republike Hrvatske.		Minutes spent in the immobile telephone network include the total traffic in the immobile network realised in the domestic and international traffic and measured by time units – minutes. The domestic traffic includes the total traffic in the own immobile network, the traffic directed to other immobile networks as well as the traffic directed to mobile networks. The international traffic includes the total traffic in the immobile network that starts within and ends outside the Republic of Croatia.
Utrošene minute u pokretnoj mreži obuhvaćaju ukupni promet ostvaren u unutarnjem i međunarodnom prometu i izražen u jedinici vremena – minutama. Unutarnji promet obuhvaća ukupno ostvaren promet unutar vlastite pokretne mreže prema drugim pokretnim mrežama i promet prema nepokretnim mrežama. Međunarodni promet obuhvaća ukupno ostvaren promet u pokretnim mrežama koji započinje unutar Republike Hrvatske i završava izvan Republike Hrvatske.		Minutes spent in the mobile telephone network include the total traffic in all mobile telephone networks realised in the domestic and international traffic and measured by time units – minutes. The domestic traffic includes the total traffic in the own immobile network, the traffic directed to other immobile networks as well as the traffic directed to mobile networks. The international traffic includes the total traffic in the immobile network that starts within and ends outside the Republic of Croatia.
Roaming-promet nije uključen.		Roaming traffic is not included.
SMS poruke prikazuju ukupni broj poslanih SMS poruka. MMS poruke prikazuju ukupni broj poslanih MMS poruka.		SMS messages show the total number of SMS messages sent. MMS messages show the total number of MMS messages sent.
Utrošene minute na internetu prikazuju ukupno ostvarene dial-up minute putem javnih komunikacijskih telefonskih mreža za pristup internetu.		Internet minutes spent show the total “dial-up” minutes realised via the public communication phone networks used for Internet access.

Pismonosna pošiljka jest vrsta pošiljke u poštanskom prometu u koju ubrajamo obična pisma, dopisnice, tiskanice, sekograme, male pakete, pošiljke s potvrđenim uručenjem, preporučene pismonosne pošiljke i pisma s označenom vrijednošću.		Postal letter is a type of item in the postal traffic, which includes letters, postcards, blanks, secograms, small parcels, record delivery items, registered mail and insured letters.
Paketne usluge obuhvaćaju broj paketnih pošiljaka prispjelih u unutarnjem prometu odnosno broj paketnih pošiljaka primljenih iz inozemstva i otpremljenih u inozemstvo u međunarodnom prometu.		Parcels include the number of parcels received in the domestic traffic, that is, the number of parcels received from abroad and posted abroad in the international traffic.
Telekomunikacijska usluga jest usluga prijenosa, odašiljanja ili primitka znakova, signala, pisanog teksta, slika, govora i zvukova ili priopćenja bilo koje prirode koja se pruža žičnim, svjetlosnim, bežičnim ili drugim elektromagnetskim sustavima uključujući omogućavanje uporabe tih sustava kao cjeline ili djelomično davanjem u najam, prodajom ili na neki drugi način.		Telecommunication service is a service of transfer, transmission or reception of signs, written text, pictures, speech, sounds or releasing of any kind rendered through wire, light, wireless or other electromagnetic systems, including the possibility of using those systems either as a whole or in part, through renting, sale or some other way.
Nepokretna mreža jest telekomunikacijska mreža kod koje je međusobna povezanost svih elemenata ostvarena žično.		Immobile network is telecommunication network in which all elements are connected by using wires.
Pokretna mreža jest telekomunikacijska mreža kod koje je međusobna povezanost nekih elemenata ostvarena bežično i time se omogućuje uspostavljanje veza i u uvjetima fizičkoga kretanja korisnika usluga te mreže.		Mobile network is a telecommunication network in which some elements are not connected by using wires. In that way, a connection is possible even when users are physically moving.
SMS poruke (Short Message Service) jesu kratke tekstualne poruke.		SMS messages (Short Message Service) are short text messages.
MMS poruke (Multimedia Messaging Service) jesu poruke koje uključuju i multimedijske sadržaje (npr. slike, glazba).		MMS messages (Multimedia Messaging Service) are messages which include multimedia services (pictures, music).
