U ovom priopćenju daju se podaci
o umrlim osobama u prometnim nesrećama u 2009. prema vrsti nesreće po
županijama kao i podaci o umrlim osobama u prometnim nesrećama u Republici
Hrvatskoj prema vrsti nesreće, spolu i starosti poginulih osoba.

This
release presents data on deaths in traffic accidents in 2009 according to
the type of accident by counties as well as data on deaths in traffic
accidents in the Republic of Croatia by type of accident, sex and age of
the deceased.
|

|
U 2009. u prometnim nesrećama
poginulo je 616 osoba, odnosno 91 osoba manje nego prethodne godine. Udio
poginulih osoba u prometnim nesrećama u odnosu na ukupno umrle osobe u
2009. iznosio je 1,2%.
|
|
In 2009, there were
616 deaths in traffic accidents, that is, 91 deaths less than in the
previous year. The share of deaths in traffic accidents in the total deaths
in 2009 was 1.2%.

U 2009. u prometnim nesrećama
poginulo je 76,5% muških i 23,5% ženskih osoba.

There were 76.5% male
and 23.5% female persons killed in traffic accidents in 2009.

|
|
U prometnim nesrećama 2009.
najviše osoba poginulo je u nesrećama u prijevoznom sredstvu (71,9%), a na
drugom su mjestu poginuli pješaci (15,4%).

In traffic accidents
in 2009, the largest number of persons was killed in accidents in transport
vehicles (71.9%), followed by killed pedestrians (15.4%).
|

|
Najveći broj poginulih osoba u
prometnim nesrećama bio je u rujnu (12,8%), a najmanji broj poginulih osoba
bio je u ožujku (5,4%).
|
|
The largest number of
deaths in traffic accidents occurred in September (12.8%), while the
smallest one was recorded in March (5.4%).
|
|
|
|
|
|
U nesrećama u prijevoznom
sredstvu najviše poginulih osoba bilo je u rujnu, i to 13,5% od ukupno
poginulih osoba u prijevoznom sredstvu, a najmanje poginulih osoba bilo je
u prosincu (4,3%).
|
|
The largest number of
deaths in accidents in transport vehicles was recorded in September (as
much as 13.5% out of the total deaths in transport vehicles), while the
smallest one was recorded in December (4.3%).
|

|
|
|
|
U rujnu i prosincu poginuo je
isti i ujedno najveći broj pješaka. Udio poginulih pješaka u tim mjesecima
bio je 13,7%. U ožujku, travnju i lipnju poginuo je isti i ujedno najmanji
broj pješaka. Udio poginulih pješaka u tim mjesecima bio je 4,2%.

The
same number of pedestrian deaths, at the same time the largest one, was
recorded in September and December (13.7%). Also, the same number of
pedestrians, at the same time the smallest one, was killed in March, April
and June. The share of pedestrians killed in each of these months was 4.2%.

|
Po broju poginulih u prometnim
nesrećama na prvom je mjestu Grad Zagreb (74), zatim Splitsko-dalmatinska
županija (64), a najmanji broj poginulih u prometnim nesrećama bio je u
Požeško-slavonskoj županiji (9).

According to the
number of deaths in traffic accidents, the City of Zagreb holds the first
place (74), followed by the County of Split-Dalmatia (64), while the
smallest number was recorded in the County of Požega-Slavonia (9).

The sources of data on
deaths are death registers kept in registrars’ offices of every particular
area.

Podaci o umrlima prikupljaju se
na Statističkom izvještaju o smrti (obrazac DEM-2) za svaki upis u Državnu
maticu umrlih, a podaci o umrlima u prometnim nesrećama odnose se na vrstu
nasilne smrti kao segment nesretnog slučaja.

Data on deaths are
collected through the Statistical Report on Deaths (DEM-2 form) for each
registration in a death register, while the data on deaths in traffic
accidents refer to the type of violent death as a segment of accident.

death registers.

Podaci vitalne statistike, pa tako
i podaci o umrlima, prikupljaju se i obrađuju u skladu s definicijom ukupnog
stanovništva prema međunarodnim preporukama (UN, Eurostat, ESA i SNA).

statistics as well as data on deaths are collected and processed in line
with the definition of the total population defined in international
recommendations (UN, Eurostat, ESA and SNA).

from the previous years, it is necessary to bear in mind that the

Vrste prometnih nesreća
definirane su prema klasifikaciji pod nazivom Međunarodna klasifikacija
bolesti i srodnih zdravstvenih problema, X. revizija iz 1994. Ta
klasifikacija primjenjuje se u vitalnoj statistici od 1995.

Types of traffic
accidents are defined according to the classification entitled the
International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, Tenth Revision, 1994. This classification has been applied in vital statistics since 1995.

|
Prometna nesreća svaka je nesreća koja uključuje
sredstvo namijenjeno ili upotrijebljeno u to vrijeme za prijevoz osoba ili
dobara s jednog mjesta na drugo, sa smrtnim ishodom sudionika u prometu.
|
|
Traffic accident is every accident involving
any transport vehicle intended or used at that time for carrying of persons
or goods from one place to the other, with fatal results for the persons
involved.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Željeznička nesreća jest prometna nesreća koja
uključuje vlak ili drugo željezničko vozilo za prijevoz po tračnicama bez
obzira na to je li u pokretu ili nije. Isključuju se nesreće u radionicama,
na okretnicama, skretnicama, željezničkom zemljištu ako nije uključen vlak
ili željezničko vozilo. Ovdje su uključeni pješaci, biciklisti i druge
poginule osobe u sudaru s vlakom pri prijelazu željezničkih tračnica.

Railway accident is a traffic
accident involving a train or other railway vehicle running on rails,
irrespective of whether moving or not. Excluded are accidents in workshops,
at turntables or switches and on railway ground if the train or railway
vehicle is not involved. This includes pedestrians, cyclists and other
persons killed in a crash with a train while crossing the rails.

Nesreća u prijevoznom sredstvu svaka je nesreća vozila nastala
na javnoj prometnici koja uključuje vozila što se djelomično ili u
cijelosti nalaze na prometnici kao i nesreća izvan prometa koja se u
cijelosti dogodila na bilo kojemu drugom mjestu.

Accidents in transport
vehicles is every accident of vehicles that occurs on a public
road and involves vehicles that find themselves partly or fully on the
road, as well as accidents out of traffic that occur in the place other
than a public road.

Prijevozna
(motorna) sredstva jesu: motocikl, tricikl na motorni pogon, automobil,
kamionet, teško prijevozno vozilo, autobus, posebno vozilo koje se pretežno
upotrebljava među industrijskim zgradama i na industrijskom prostoru,
posebno vozilo koje se pretežno upotrebljava u poljoprivredi, posebno
građevinsko vozilo te posebno vozilo za svaki teren.

Transport (motor)
vehicles are the following: motorcycle, motor tricycle, passenger car,
pick-up truck, heavy transport vehicle, bus, special vehicle for use inside
a factory and industrial facilities, special vehicle used in agriculture,
special vehicle used in building and special off-road vehicle.

Pješak je svaka osoba uključena u
nesreću koja se u trenutku nesreće nije vozila u motornom vozilu ili na
njemu, u željeznici, tramvaju, vozilu sa životinjskom vučom, drugom vozilu,
na vozilu na pedale ili životinji.

Pedestrian is every person
involved in an accident who at the moment of accident was not driving in a
motor vehicle, railway vehicle, tram, animal-drawn vehicle or some other
vehicle, on pedal vehicle or on an animal.
|
|
|
|
|

Prijevozne nesreće nemotornih
vozila nesreće
su vozila koja nisu motorna (npr. zaprežno vozilo, životinja koja nosi
osobu, bicikl, trolejbus).

Accidents of non-motor
vehicles are accidents of vehicles other than motor (e.g.
animal-drawn vehicle, an animal carrying a rider, bicycle, trolley-bus).

|
|
|
U tu skupinu
nesreća uključuje se i tramvaj kao sredstvo namijenjeno prije svega
prijevozu osoba unutar grada. Kreće se po tračnicama, podvrgnut je
normalnim prometnim znakovima i vozi u pravilu na zasebnoj pruzi koja je
dio ceste. Prikolica koju vuče tramvaj smatra se dijelom tramvaja.

This
group of vehicles includes also a tram as a means aimed primarily at
conveying persons within urban area. It is rail-borne, follows regular
traffic signs and moves on separate rails, which make part of the road. The
trailer is considered part of the tram.
