AUTUMN SOWING, situation as on 10 November 2010

U 2010. površina pod žitaricama i uljanom repicom u jesenskoj sjetvi iznosi 203 728 ha.	In the 2010 autumn sowing, the land sown with cereals and rapeseed amounted to 203 728 ha.
U strukturi ukupnih površina žitarica zasijanih u jesenskoj sjetvi 2010. najviše su zastupljene pšenica (72%) i ječam (19%). U odnosu na prošlu godinu, površine zasijane u jesenskoj sjetvi  bilježe smanjenje za 8%. Površine pod žitaricama smanjene su za 7%.	In regard to the structure of the land sown with cereals in the 2010 autumn sowing, the major area was sown with wheat (72%) and barley (19%). As compared to the last year, the total land sown in the 2008 autumn sowing decreased by 8%. The land sown with cereals decreased by 7%.

Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka		Source and methods of data collection
Izvještajem o jesenskoj sjetvi prikupljaju se podaci o površinama zasijanima u jesenskoj sjetvi. Podaci se iskazuju u hektarima.Ti podaci prikupljeni su posebno za poslovne subjekte i njihove dijelove, a posebno za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva. Podaci za poslovne subjekte prikupljaju se izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.		The Report on Autumn Sowing collects data on land sown in autumn. Data on land sown are presented in hectares. These data are collected separately for business entities and parts thereof and for private family farms. Data for business entities are collected on reports, which are then submitted to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics by postal service.
Podaci za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva prikupljeni su s pomoću anketara metodom intervjua na odabranome stratificiranom uzorku. Uzorak za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva izabran je iz Statističkog registra poljoprivrednih gospodarstava.		Data for private family farms are collected by using the interview method applied to a selected stratified sample. The sample for private family farms was selected from the Statistical Register of Agricultural Holdings.
U ovom istraživanju primijenjena je definicija poljoprivrednoga gospodarstva prema europskim kriterijima.		In this survey the definition of an agricultural farm has been applied in accordance with the EU criteria.
Na veličinu uzorka utjecala su odobrena sredstva u Državnom proračunu Republike Hrvatske za 2010. i udio poljoprivrednih gospodarstava po regijama.		The sample size was conditioned by the financial means allocated from the 2010 State Budget of the Republic of Croatia and the share of agricultural farms by regions.
U uzorak je odabrano oko 6 600 obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava u 15 županija. Anketa nije provedena na području 6 županija u kojima pojava nije velika i za koje su podaci procijenjeni. To su sljedeće županije: Dubrovačko-neretvanska, Primorsko-goranska, Splitsko-dalmatinska, Šibensko-kninska, Istarska i Zadarska.		The sample consisted of about 6 600 private family farms in 15 counties. The interview was not carried out in 6 counties in which the monitored occurrence is insignificant, so data on them were estimated. These counties are: Dubrovnik-Neretva, Primorje-Gorski kotar, Split-Dalmatia, Šibenik-Knin, Istria and Zadar.
Svi podaci uspoređeni su s podacima prijašnjih godina, te raspoloživim administrativnim izvorima (Upisnik poljoprivrednih gospodarstava pri Agenciji za plaćanja u poljoprivredi, ribarstvu i ruralnom razvoju te drugi). Na temelju svih raspoloživih podataka prema potrebi napravljene su korekcije.		All data have been compared to data from previous years and available administrative sources (the Farm Register of the Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development etc). On the basis of all available data, corrections were done if necessary.
Obuhvat i usporedivost		Coverage and comparability
Izvještajne jedinice jesu poslovni subjekti i dijelovi poslovnih subjekata koji su preuzeti iz Registra poslovnih subjekata, a definirani su područjem A Poljoprivreda, šumarstvo i ribarstvo prema Nacionalnoj klasifikaciji djelatnosti 2007. (NN, br. 58/07. i 72/07.). Obuhvat je selektivan. Podaci se prikupljaju izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.		Reporting units are business entities and parts thereof taken over form the Register of Business Entities, which are defined in section A Agriculture, forestry and fishing according to the National Classification of Activities, 2007 version (NN, Nos. 58/07 and 72/07). The selective coverage is applied. Data are collected on reports, which are then submitted to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics by postal service.
Izvještajne jedinice jesu i obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva koja obavljaju poljoprivrednu proizvodnju, a njihovi podaci prikupljeni su uz pomoć anketara.		Reporting units are also private family farms engaged in agricultural production, for which interviewers collected data.
