Prema prethodnim podacima, ostvareni prirod kukuruza u 2010. iznosi 2 060 000 t, što je za 6% manje od prošlogodišnjega konačnog ostvarenog priroda. Također je smanjen ukupan prirod ostalih važnijih kasnih usjeva i to: suncokreta za 25%, krumpira za 36%, lucerne za 1% te djetelina i mješavina za 14%. Prirod soje prema prethodnim podacima iznosi 152 000 t i porastao je za 32%, dok je prirod šećerne repe porastao za 1% u odnosu  na prošlogodišnji ostvareni prirod.

According to the previous data, the actual yield of maize in 2010 amounted to 2 060 000 tonnes, which was by 6% less than the final actual yield last year. The total yield of other important late crops also decreased. Thus, sunflower decreased by 25%, potatoes by 36%, lucerne by 1% and clover and mixtures by 14%. The yield of soya-beans, according to the previous data, amounted to 152 000 tonnes and increased by 32%, while the yield of sugar beets increased by 1%, as compared to the last year.

METODOLOŠKA OBJAŠNJENJA		NOTES ON METHODOLOGY
Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka		Source and methods of data collection
Izvještajem o ostvarenim prirodima kasnih usjeva i voća (PO-33a i PO-33b) prikupljaju se podaci o požnjevenim površinama i ostvarenim prirodima kasnih usjeva. Podaci o požnjevenim površinama kasnih usjeva iskazuju se u hektarima, dok su proizvodnja i prirod po jednom hektaru iskazani u tonama.		The data on harvested areas and actual yield of late crops are collected through the Report on Actual Yield of Late Crops (PO-33a and PO-33b forms). Data on harvested areas of late crops are presented in hectares, while total yield and yield per hectare are presented in tonnes.
Podaci su prikupljeni posebno za poslovne subjekte i njihove dijelove, a posebno za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva. Podaci za poslovne subjekte prikupljaju se izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.		These data are collected separately for legal entities and parts thereof and for private family farms. Data concerning business entities are collected by reporting method and the reports are delivered by mail to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
Podaci za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva prikupljeni su s pomoću anketara metodom intervjua na odabranome stratificiranom uzorku. Uzorak za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva izabran je iz Statističkog registra poljoprivrednih gospodarstava.		Data for private family farms have been collected by using the interview method applied to a selected sample. The sample for private family farms was selected from the Statistical Register of Agricultural Holdings.
U ovom istraživanju primijenjena je definicija poljoprivrednoga gospodarstva prema europskim kriterijima.		The definition of an agricultural holding applied in this survey is in accordance with the EU standards.
Na veličinu uzorka utjecala su sredstva odobrena u Državnom proračunu Republike Hrvatske za 2010. i udio obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava po regijama. U uzorak je odabrano oko 8 500 obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava.		The sample size was conditioned by the financial means allocated from the 2010 State Budget of the Republic of Croatia and the share of private family farms by statistical regions. The sample consisted of about 8 500 private family farms.
Podaci za poljoprivredna gospodarstva koja ne zadovoljavaju navedenu definiciju i nisu obuhvaćena osnovnim skupom za izbor uzorka, procijenjeni su prema kretanju pojava u uzorku i dodani su uzorku.		The data on agricultural farms to which the stated definition did not apply and that were not included in the basic group have been estimated according to changes in the phenomena within a sample and added to the sample data.
Svi ekspandirani podaci uspoređeni su s podacima prijašnjih godina, podacima Popisa poljoprivrede 2003. te raspoloživim administrativnim izvorima (Upisnik poljoprivrednih gospodarstava pri Agenciji za plaćanja u poljoprivredi, ribarstvu i ruralnom razvoju te drugi). Na temelju svih raspoloživih podataka prema potrebi napravljene su korekcije.		All expanded data were compared to data from previous years, the 2003 Agricultural Census data and available administrative sources (the Farm Register of the Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development etc.). On the basis of all available data, corrections were done if necessary.
Podaci o prirodima odnose se na stanje 10. studenoga 2010.		Data on yields refer to the situation as on 10 November 2010.
Obuhvat i usporedivost		Coverage and comparability
Izvještajne jedinice jesu poslovni subjekti i dijelovi poslovnih subjekata koji su preuzeti iz Registra poslovnih subjekata, a definirani su područjem A Poljoprivreda, šumarstvo i ribarstvo  prema Nacionalnoj klasifikaciji djelatnosti 2007. (NN, br. 58/07. i 72/07.). Obuhvat je selektivan. Podaci se prikupljaju izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.		Reporting units are business entities and parts thereof taken over from the Register of Business Entities, which are defined in section A Agriculture, forestry and fishing according to the National Classification of Activities, 2007 version (NN, No. 58/07 and 72/07). The coverage is selective. Data are collected on reports that are sent by mail to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
Izvještajne jedinice jesu i obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva koja obavljaju poljoprivrednu proizvodnju, a njihovi podaci prikupljeni su uz pomoć anketara.		Reporting units are also private family farms engaged in agricultural production, for which interviewers collected data.
Definicije		Definitions
Požnjevene površine jesu površine s kojih je požnjeven usjev i ubran prirod.		Harvested areas are areas on which crops and yield have been harvested.
Ostvareni prirod jest prirod koji se dobije nakon žetve po odbitku količina izgubljenih prije žetve, tijekom prijevoza, kombajniranja itd.		Actual yield is a yield obtained after the harvest by deduction of all losses before the harvest and during the transport and combine-harvesting etc.
Budući da vlažnost žitarica varira zbog različitih vremenskih prilika, ostvareni prirod iskazuje se kao prirod normalne vlažnosti, tj. prirod zrna s 14% vlage.		Since the moisture of cereals may vary due to the weather conditions, the actual yield is presented as an averagely moisture yield, that is, grains estimated with 14% of moisture.
