Promet od trgovine na malo što su ga ostvarili svi poslovni subjekti koji se bave tom djelatnošću bez obzira na svoju pretežnu djelatnost u siječnju 2011. u odnosu na prosinac 2010. nominalno je bio manji  za 23,4%, a realno za 24,0%.	In January 2011, the total turnover of all business entities engaged in this activity, irrespective of their main activity, was nominally by 23.4% and really by 24.0% lower than in December 2010.
U odnosu na siječanj 2010. nominalno je bio veći za 2,7%, a realno za 0,2%.	As compared to January 2010, it was nominally by 2.7% and really by 0.2% higher.
U siječnju 2011. u odnosu na prosinac 2010. ukupan promet svih poslovnih subjekata kojima je trgovina na malo pretežna djelatnost nominalno je bio manji za 26,6%, a realno za 27,2%. Promet tih poslovnih subjekata što su ga ostvarili od djelatnosti trgovine na malo u siječnju 2011. u odnosu na prosinac 2010. nominalno je bio manji za 25,0%, što je realno manje za 25,6%.	In January 2011, the retail trade turnover realised by all business entities with retail trade as a main activity was nominally by 26.6% and really by 27.2% lower than in December 2010. The turnover they generated in January from the retailing activity was nominally by 25.0% lower then in December 2010. Really, it was by 25.6% lower.

Data source and methods of data collection

Podaci u ovom priopćenju dobiveni su Mjesečnim izvještajem trgovine na malo (TRG-1). Ovo istraživanje provodi se od siječnja 1998.

Data in this first release are based on the Monthly Report on Retail Trade (TRG-1 form). This survey has been carried out since 1 January 1998.

Istraživanje provodi Državni zavod za statistiku zajedno sa svojim područnim jedinicama te upravnim tijelom Grada Zagreba nadležnim za poslove službene statistike na temelju Zakona o službenoj statistici (NN, br. 103/03. i 75/09.).

The survey is conducted by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics and its regional offices as well as the administrative body of the City of Zagreb competent for the official statistics affairs on the basis of the Official Statistics Act (NN, Nos. 103/03 and 75/09).

Podaci se prikupljaju izvještajnom metodom, na obrascu TRG-1.

Data are collected by using the reporting method on the TRG-1 form.

Metodologija za istraživanje temelji se na Uredbi o kratkoročnim statistikama EU-a br. 1165/98. (Dodatak C), 1158/05., 1503/06. i  1893/06.

Methodology for this survey is based on the Council Regulations Nos. 1165/98 (Annex C), 1158/05, 1503/06 and 1893/06 concerning short-term statistics.

Istraživanje se provodi metodom uzorka. Na temelju rezultata dobivenih uzorkom ocjenjuje se cijeli skup.

The survey is carried out by using a sampling method. The estimation of the whole population is based on the results obtained through samples.

Obuhvat i usporedivost

Coverage

Jedinice promatranja jesu poslovni subjekti (pravne osobe i obrtnici) koji su prema pretežnoj djelatnosti registrirani u trgovini na malo (odjeljak 47 NKD-a 2007.). Također su obuhvaćeni izabrani poslovni subjekti iz ostalih djelatnosti ako obavljaju trgovinu na malo.

Observation units are business entities (legal entities and tradesmen) registered in the retailing trade as a main activity (section 47 of the NKD 2007.) as well as selected business entities engaged in other activities if performing the retail trade activities.  

U 2011. izabran je novi uzorak na način da je jedna trećina malih jedinica ostala ista, a dvije trećine su zamijenjene novima. Okvir za izbor uzorka jesu aktivni poslovni subjekti ili njihovi dijelovi registrirani u području G NKD-a 2007. u Statističkome poslovnom registru Državnog zavoda za statistiku (SPR) za koje je status aktivnosti utvrđen prema podacima Registra poreznih obveznika (godišnja prijava poreza na dobit 2009.) i podacima Registra godišnjih financijskih izvještaja Fine (2009.). U okvir su uključeni i novoregistrirani nakon 1. siječnja 2010.

In 2011, a new sample was selected in a way that one third of small units remained the same, while two thirds were replaced by new ones. The sample framework consists of active business entities and parts thereof registered to the NKD 2007. section G in the Register of Business Entities of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, for which the activity status was defined according to the data base of the Register of Tax Payers (the annual income tax registration for 2009) and according to data of the Register of Annual Financial Reports of the Fina (2009). The frame also includes entities that were newly registered after 1 January 2010.

Kvaliteta rezultata dobivenih ovim istraživanjem u velikoj mjeri ovisi o ažurnosti registara – okvira za izbor uzorka.

The quality of results obtained by this survey depends to a great extent on the updating of registers, which represent the framework for the sample selection.

Uzorkom su obuhvaćeni svi veliki i srednje veliki te slučajnim uzorkom izabrani mikro i mali poslovni subjekti.

The sample covers all large and medium-sized business entities as well as micro-sized and small business entities selected by using the random sample method.

Uzorak je podijeljen na stratume prema pretežnoj djelatnosti i veličini poslovnog subjekta. Prema pretežnoj djelatnosti poslovni subjekti razvrstani su na temelju NKD-a 2007. (NN, br. 58/07. i 123/08.). Prema veličini razvrstani su na veličinske razrede od 1 do 7.

The sample is divided into strata according to the main activity and the size of a business entity. Business entities are divided by their main activity on the basis of the NKD 2007. (NN, Nos. 58/07 and 123/08). By size, they are divided into size classes form 1 to 7.

Kriterij za određivanje veličine poslovnog subjekta jest broj zaposlenih. Za poslovne subjekte kojima je pretežna djelatnost izvan trgovine uzima se broj zaposlenih u trgovinskim djelatnostima. Poslovni subjekti veličine 1 su oni s 0 – 4 zaposlenih, veličine 2 s 5 – 9 zaposlenih, veličine 3 s 10 – 19 zaposlenih, veličine 4 s 20 – 49 zaposlenih, veličine 5 s 50 – 99 zaposlenih, veličine 6 sa 100 – 249 zaposlenih i veličine 7 sa 250 i više zaposlenih.

The criterion for the defining the size of a business entity is the number of persons in employment. Concerning business entities engaged primarily in non-trade activities, the number of persons in employment in trade activities is taken into account. The business entities of size 1 are those employing 0 – 4 persons, of size 2 those employing 5 – 9 persons, of size 3 those employing 10 – 19 persons, of size 4 those employing 20 – 49 persons, of size 5 those employing 50 – 99 persons, of size 6 those employing 100 – 249 persons and of size 7 those employing 250 and more persons.

U 2011. ažuriran je okvir za uzorak na temelju ažuriranja Statističkoga poslovnog registra DZS-a (SPR), pri čemu je mnogim poslovnim jedinicama promijenjena pretežna djelatnost.

In 2011, the sample frame was updated on the basis of the updating of the Statistical Business Register, where the main activity of many business units was changed.

Presentation of indices

Indeksi prometa u ovom priopćenju prikazuju se u trima oblicima kao: izvorni (neprilagođeni) indeksi, desezonirani indeksi te kao kalendarski prilagođeni indeksi.

Turnover indices in this release are presented in three forms: as gross (non-adjusted) indices, as seasonally adjusted indices and as working-day adjusted indices.

Izvorni (neprilagođeni) indeksi iskazani su u tablicama 1., 4. i 5. i stope promjene prometa u uvodu priopćenja tumače se iz tih izvornih (neprilagođenih) indeksa.

Gross indices are presented in tables 1., 4. and 5. The turnover growth rates in the introduction of this release are commented on the basis of these gross (unadjusted) indices.

Stope promjene izračunane iz desezoniranih i kalendarski prilagođenih indeksa prikazane su u tablicama 2., 3. i 6. i nisu posebno tumačene.

Growth rates calculated from seasonally and working-day adjusted indices are presented in tables 2., 3. and 6. and are not commented separately.

Samo dio podataka iz ovog priopćenja (to su podaci koji se odnose na ukupan promet poslovnih subjekata kojima je trgovina na malo pretežna djelatnost, tj. razvrstani su u odjeljak 47 NKD-a 2007.) redovito se mjesečno dostavljaju u Eurostatu (u obliku nominalnih i realnih izvornih i kalendarski prilagođenih indeksa na bazi 2005.), i dostupni su na internetskim stranicama Eurostata: http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat, zajedno s pokazateljima država članica EU-a s kojima su usporedivi.

Only a part of the data from this release (those that refer to the total turnover of business entities with the main activity registered in section 47 of the NKD 2007.) are regularly sent to Eurostat every month (in the form of value and volume gross and working-day adjusted indices on the 2005 base year). They are available on Eurostat web site: http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat together with indicators of other EU Member States they are comparable with.

Desezoniranje i kalendarska prilagodba

Seasonal and working-day adjustment

Desezoniranje i kalendarska prilagodba provedeni su metodom TRAMO-SEATS u sučelju "Demetra" na serijama mjesečnih podataka od siječnja 2000. do siječnja 2011. za ukupan promet, odnosno od siječnja 2005. do siječnja 2011. za promet od trgovine na malo.

The working-day adjustment (WDA) and seasonal adjustment were conducted by using the TRAMO-SEATS method by applying the "Demetra" interface on data series in the period from January 2000 to January 2011 for the total turnover and in the period from January 2005 to January 2011 for the retail trade turnover.

U kalendarski prilagođenim serijama uklonjen je utjecaj različitih kalendarskih dana, dok je u desezoniranim indeksima uklonjen utjecaj i različitih kalendarskih dana i utjecaj sezone. Dodavanjem novih mjesečnih podataka u seriji može doći do promjene desezoniranih i kalendarski prilagođenih indeksa za protekla razdoblja.

The effect of different calendar days has been removed from working-day adjusted series, while both the effect of different calendar days and the seasonal effect have been removed from seasonally adjusted indices.

Promet je vrijednost svih prodanih roba i obavljenih usluga na tržištu tijekom mjeseca bez obzira na to jesu li naplaćene ili ne. U promet je uključen porez na dodanu vrijednost.

Turnover is a total value of all goods sold and services provided on the market in a month, irrespective of whether paid up or not. It also includes the value added tax.

Indeksi prometa iskazuju se na dva načina:

Indices on the retail trade turnover are presented in two ways:

za ukupan promet što ga ostvaruju svi poslovni subjekti kojima je trgovina na malo pretežna djelatnost (razvrstani u odjeljak 47 NKD-a 2007.)

for the total turnover generated by all business entities with the retail trade as main activity (classified in division 47 of the NKD 2007.);

-

za promet od trgovine na malo što ga iskazuju svi poslovni subjekti koji tu djelatnost obavljaju bez obzira na pretežnu djelatnost u kojoj su registrirani.

-

for the retail trade turnover expressed by all business entitiesengaged in this activity, irrespective of their registered main activity.

Rezultati se objavljuju u obliku nominalnih i realnih indeksa.

Results are shown in the form of nominal (value indices) and real indices (volume indices).

Nominalni indeksi prikazuju kretanje prometa u tekućim cijenama.

Value indices show turnover movements in current prices.

Realni indeksi dobiveni su deflacioniranjem nominalnih indeksa indeksom maloprodajnih cijena dobara (bez električne energije i distribucije vode) prema indeksu potrošačkih cijena.

Volume indices are calculated by deflating of value indices by retail trade price indices of goods (without electricity and water distribution) according to consumer price indices.
