Broj pismonosnih i ostalih pošiljaka u četvrtom tromjesečju 2011. u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2010. bilježi pad od 6,7%, dok je u razdoblju I. – XII. 2011. broj paketnih usluga iznosio 335 599 tisuća,  što je pad od 2,8% u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2010.	In the fourth quarter of 2011, the total number of letters and other consignments decreased by 6.7%, and in the period from January to December 2011 the number of consignments amounted to 335 599 thousands, which is a decrease of 2.8%, as compared to the same period of 2010.
Broj paketa u četvrtom tromjesečju 2011. u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2010. bilježi porast od 6,1%, dok je u razdoblju I. – XII. 2011. broj paketa iznosio 8 059 tisuća, što je porast od 4,8% u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2010.	In the fourth quarter of 2011, the total number of parcels increased by 6.1%, and in the period from January to December 2011 the number of parcels amounted to 8 059 thousands, which is an increase of 4.8%, as compared to the same period of 2010.
Broj utrošenih minuta u nepokretnoj mreži u četvrtom tromjesečju 2011. u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2010. bilježi pad od 12,7%, dok je u razdoblju I. – XII. 2011. broj utrošenih minuta iznosio 4 585 milijuna, što je pad od 10,1% u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2010.	The number of minutes spent in the immobile telephone network decreased in the fourth quarter of 2011 by 12.7%, and in the period from January to December 2011 minutes spent amounted to 4 585 million, which is a decrease of 10.1%, as compared to the same period of 2010.
Broj utrošenih minuta u pokretnoj mreži u četvrtom tromjesečju 2011. u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2010. bilježi pad od 0,2%, dok je u razdoblju I. – XII. 2011. broj utrošenih minuta iznosio 6 145 milijuna, što je porast od 3,5% u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2010.	The number of minutes spent in the mobile telephone network decreased in the fourth quarter of 2011 by 0.2%, and in the period from January to December 2011 minutes spent amounted to 6 145 million, which is an increase of 3.5%, as compared to the same period of 2010.
U četvrtom tromjesečju 2011. poslano je 758 milijuna SMS poruka, što je za 5,5% manje u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2010., dok je u razdoblju I. – XII. 2011. broj poslanih SMS poruka iznosio 2 926 milijuna, što je pad od 4,8% u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2010.	In the fourth quarter of 2011, there were 758 million SMS messages sent, which was by 5.5% less than in the same period of 2010. In the period from January to December 2011 number of messages amounted to 2 926 million, which is a decrease of 4.8%, as compared to the same period of 2010.
U četvrtom tromjesečju 2011. poslano je 5 518 tisuća MMS poruka, što je za 0,5% manje u usporedbi s istim razdobljem 2010., dok je u razdoblju I. – XII. 2011. broj poslanih MMS poruka iznosio 23 071 tisuću, što je pad od 3,7% u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2010.	In the fourth quarter of 2011, there were 5 518 thousand MMS messages sent, which was by 0.5% less than in the same period of 2010. In the period from January to December 2011 number of messages amounted to 23 071 thousand, which is a decrease of 3.7%, as compared to the same period of 2010.

U pojedinim tablicama može se dogoditi da ukupni zbroj ne odgovara zbroju pojedinačnih podataka zbog zaokruživanja apsolutnih vrijednosti.			In certain tables, the sum total may not equal the sum of individual figures due to the rounding of absolute values.
Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka			Sources and methods of data collection
Podaci o poštanskim i kurirskim uslugama prikupljeni su izvještajnom metodom s pomoću obrasca Tromjesečni izvještaj o poštanskim i kurirskim uslugama (obrazac P-PT/T-11).			Data on postal and courier services are collected by using the reporting method through the Quarterly Reports on Postal Traffic (P-PT/T-11 form).
Podatke o telekomunikacijskim uslugama dostavlja Hrvatska agencija za poštu i elektroničke komunikacije na temelju tromjesečnih izvještaja prikupljenih od svih operatora na tržištu elektroničkih komunikacija u Republici Hrvatskoj.			Data on telecommunication services are delivered by the Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency based on quarterly reports collected from all the operators on electronic communications market in the Republic of Croatia.
Obuhvat			Coverage
Podatke o poštanskim i kurirskim uslugama dostavljaju pravne osobe koje su registrirane ili se bave djelatnošću iz odjeljka 53 prema NKD-u 2007. (Poštanske i kurirske djelatnosti).			Data on postal and courier services are submitted by legal entities that are either registered or are engaged in the activity classified in division 53 according to the NKD 2007. (Postal and courier activities).
Poštanske i kurirske usluge obuhvaćaju usluge dostave poštanskih pošiljki.			Postal and courier services comprise services of delivery of postal consignments.
Zbog usklađivanja definicija objavljenih varijabli s nacionalnom zakonskom osnovom i zadržavanja usporedivosti serije podataka iz prijašnjih godina, poštanske pošiljke razdijeljene su na pošiljke i pakete.			Due to the harmonisation of variables presented with the national legal basis and in order to maintain the comparability of data series from previous years, the postal items are divided into consignments and parcels.
Pismonosne i ostale pošiljke obuhvaćaju broj pošiljaka prispjelih u unutarnjem prometu, odnosno broj pošiljaka primljenih iz inozemstva i otpremljenih u inozemstvo u međunarodnom prometu.			Letters and other consignments include the number of consignments in the domestic traffic, that is, the number of consignments received from abroad and posted abroad in the international traffic.
Paketi obuhvaćaju broj paketa prispjelih u unutarnji promet, odnosno broj paketnih pošiljaka primljenih iz inozemstva i otpremljenih u inozemstvo u međunarodnom prometu.			Parcels include the number of parcels received in the domestic traffic, that is, the number of parcels received from abroad and posted abroad in the international traffic.
Telekomunikacijske usluge obuhvaćaju telekomunikacijski promet svih operatora na tržištu elektroničkih komunikacija ostvaren u nepokretnoj mreži i pokretnim mrežama.			Telecommunication services include the telecommunication traffic realised by all operators on electronic communications market in immobile and mobile telephone network.
Utrošene minute u nepokretnoj mreži obuhvaćaju ukupni odlazni promet ostvaren u unutarnjem i međunarodnom prometu i izražen u jedinici vremena – minutama. Unutarnji promet obuhvaća ukupno ostvaren odlazni promet unutar vlastite nepokretne mreže, prema drugim nepokretnim mrežama, promet prema pokretnim mrežama i promet prema brojevima usluga s dodanom vrijednošću. Međunarodni promet obuhvaća ukupno ostvaren promet u nepokretnim mrežama koji počinje unutar Republike Hrvatske i završava izvan Republike Hrvatske.			Minutes spent in the immobile telephone network include the total outgoing traffic in the immobile network realised in the domestic and international traffic and measured by time units – minutes. The domestic traffic includes the total outgoing traffic in the own immobile network, the traffic directed to other immobile networks, the traffic directed to mobile networks as well as traffic to value added service numbers. The international traffic includes the total traffic in the immobile network that starts within and ends outside the Republic of Croatia.
Utrošene minute u pokretnoj mreži obuhvaćaju ukupni odlazni promet ostvaren u unutarnjem i međunarodnom prometu i izražen u jedinici vremena – minutama. Unutarnji promet obuhvaća ukupno ostvaren odlazni promet unutar vlastite pokretne mreže, prema drugim pokretnim mrežama, promet prema nepokretnim mrežama i promet prema brojevima usluga s dodanom vrijednošću. Međunarodni promet obuhvaća ukupno ostvaren promet u pokretnim mrežama koji počinje unutar Republike Hrvatske i završava izvan Republike Hrvatske.			Minutes spent in the mobile telephone network include the total outgoing traffic in all mobile telephone networks realised in the domestic and international traffic and measured by time units – minutes. The domestic traffic includes the total outgoing traffic in the own immobile network, the traffic directed to other immobile networks, the traffic directed to mobile networks as well as traffic to value added service numbers. The international traffic includes the total traffic in the immobile network that starts within and ends outside the Republic of Croatia.
Roaming-promet nije uključen.			Roaming traffic is not included.
SMS poruke prikazuju ukupni broj poslanih SMS poruka. MMS poruke prikazuju ukupni broj poslanih MMS poruka.			SMS messages show the total number of SMS messages sent. MMS messages show the total number of MMS messages sent.
Utrošene minute na internetu prikazuju ukupno ostvarene dial-up-minute putem javnih komunikacijskih telefonskih mreža za pristup internetu.		Internet minutes spent show the total “dial-up” minutes realised via the public communication phone networks used for Internet access.
Definicije		Definitions
U pismovne i ostale pošiljke ubrajaju se pismovne pošiljke, preporučene pošiljke, pošiljke s označenom vrijednosti, sekogrami, izravna pošta, tiskanice, ostale poštanske pošiljke i neadresirane pošiljke.		Letters and other consignments include letters, registered mail, insured letters, secograms, direct mail, blanks, other postal consignments and non-addressed consignments.
Paket je poštanska pošiljka koja sadrži robu i predmete.		Parcel is a postal consignment that contains goods and objects.
Telekomunikacijska usluga jest usluga prijenosa, odašiljanja ili primitka znakova, signala, pisanog teksta, slika, govora i zvukova ili priopćenja bilo koje prirode koja se pruža žičnim, svjetlosnim, bežičnim ili drugim elektromagnetskim sustavima uključujući omogućivanje uporabe tih sustava kao cjeline ili djelomično davanjem u najam, prodajom ili na neki drugi način.		Telecommunication service is a service of transfer, transmission or reception of signs, written text, pictures, speech, sounds or releasing of any kind rendered through wire, light, wireless or other electromagnetic systems, including the possibility of using those systems either as a whole or in part, through renting, sale or some other way.
Nepokretna mreža jest telekomunikacijska mreža kod koje je međusobna povezanost svih elemenata ostvarena žično.		Immobile network is telecommunication network in which all elements are connected by using wires.
Pokretna mreža jest telekomunikacijska mreža kod koje je međusobna povezanost nekih elemenata ostvarena bežično i time se omogućuje uspostavljanje veza i u uvjetima fizičkoga kretanja korisnika usluga te mreže.		Mobile network is a telecommunication network in which some elements are not connected by using wires. In that way, a connection is possible even when users are physically moving.
SMS poruke (Short Message Service) jesu kratke tekstualne poruke.		SMS messages (Short Message Service) are short text messages.
MMS poruke (Multimedia Messaging Service) jesu poruke koje uključuju i multimedijske sadržaje (npr. slike, glazba).		MMS messages (Multimedia Messaging Service) are messages which include multimedia services (pictures, music).
