Actual yield of early crops – preliminary data

Situation as on 15 August, 2012

 

 

 

Prema prethodnim podacima, ostvareni prirodi odabranih ranih usjeva u 2012. povećani su u odnosu na ostvareni prošlogodišnji prirod. Prirod pšenice iznosi 997 tisuća tona, što je više za 27%. Povećan je i ukupan prirod ječma (za 21%), prirod zobi (za 23%) dok je prirod uljane repice smanjen (za 47%) u odnosu na ostvareni prirod u 2011.

 

According to preliminary data, the actual yield of selected early crops increased in 2012, as compared to the actual yield last year. The actual yield of wheat amounted to 997 thousand tonnes, which was by 27% more than the last year’s actual yield. The total yield of barley increased by 21% and that of oats by 23%, while the yield of rapeseed decreased by 47%, as compared to the actual yield in 2011.

Source and methods of data collection

 

 

 

Izvještajem o ostvarenim prirodima ranih usjeva (PO-32) prikupljaju se podaci o požnjevenim površinama i ostvarenim prirodima ranih usjeva. Podaci o požnjevenim površinama ranih usjeva iskazuju se u hektarima, dok su ukupan prirod i prirod po jednom hektaru iskazani u tonama. Ti podaci prikupljeni su posebno za poslovne subjekte i njihove dijelove, a posebno za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva. Podaci za poslovne subjekte i njihove dijelove prikupljaju se izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.

 

The final data on harvested areas and actual yield of early crops are collected through the Report on Actual Yield of Early Crops (PO-32). Data on harvested areas of early crops are presented in hectares, while the total yield and yield per hectare are presented in tonnes. These data are collected separately for business entities and parts thereof and for private family farms. Data concerning business entities and parts thereof are collected by reporting method and the reports are delivered by mail to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.

 

 

 

Podaci za poljoprivredna gospodarstva prikupljeni su uz pomoć anketara metodom intervjua na odabranome stratificiranom uzorku. Uzorak za poljoprivredna gospodarstva izabran je iz Statističkog registra poljoprivrednih gospodarstava.

 

Data for private family farms are collected by using the interview method applied to a selected stratified sample. The sample for private family farms was selected from the Statistical Register of Agricultural Holdings.

 

 

 

Na veličinu uzorka utjecala su odobrena sredstva u Državnom proračunu Republike Hrvatske za 2012. i udio poljoprivrednih gospodarstava po prostornim jedinicama za statistiku 2. razine.
U uzorak je odabrano 7 000 poljoprivrednih gospodarstava.

 

The sample size was conditioned by the financial means allocated from the 2012 State Budget of the Republic of Croatia and the share of agricultural farms by statistical spatial units at level 2. The sample consisted of 7 000 agricultural holdings.

 

 

 

Svi ekspandirani podaci uspoređeni su s podacima prijašnjih godina te raspoloživim administrativnim izvorima (Ministarstvo poljoprivrede, Agencija za plaćanja u poljoprivredi, ribarstvu i ruralnom razvoju te drugi). Na temelju svih raspoloživih podataka prema potrebi načinjene su korekcije.

 

All expanded data were compared to data from previous years and available administrative sources (the Ministry of Agriculture, the Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development and others). On the basis of all available data, corrections were done when necessary.

 

 

 

Podaci o prirodima odnose se na stanje 15. kolovoza 2012.

 

Data on yields refer to the situation as on 15 August 2012.

Izvještajne jedinice jesu pravne osobe i dijelovi pravnih osoba koji su definirani područjem A Poljoprivreda, šumarstvo i ribarstvo prema NKD-u 2007. Obuhvat je selektivan. Podaci se prikupljaju izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.

 

Reporting units are legal entities and parts thereof defined in section A Agriculture, forestry and fishing according to the NKD 2007. The coverage is selective. Data are collected on reports that are submitted to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics by post.

 

 

 

Izvještajne jedinice jesu i obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva koja obavljaju poljoprivrednu proizvodnju, a njihovi podaci prikupljeni su uz pomoć anketara.

 

Reporting units are also private family farms engaged in agricultural production, for which interviewers collect data.

Ostvareni prirod jest prirod koji se dobije nakon žetve po odbitku količina izgubljenih prije žetve, tijekom prijevoza, kombajniranja itd. Budući da vlažnost žitarica varira zbog različitih vremenskih prilika, ostvareni prirod iskazuje se kao prirod normalne vlažnosti, tj. prirod zrna s 13% vlage.

 

Actual yield is the yield obtained after the harvest by deduction of all the losses before the harvest and during the transport and combine harvesting etc. Since the moisture of cereals may vary due to weather conditions, the actual yield is presented as an averagely moist yield, that is, grains estimated with 13% of moisture.
