Podaci
o biljnoj proizvodnji u 2011. obuhvaćaju površine korištenoga poljoprivrednog
zemljišta po kategorijama, žetvene površine i ostvarene prirode usjeva,
voća i grožđa. Korištena poljoprivredna površina iznosi 1 326 083 ha, dok je kategorija oranice i vrtovi zastupljena sa 67,3%, povrtnjaci s 0,3%, trajni
travnjaci (livade i pašnjaci) s 26,1%, voćnjaci s 2,5%, vinogradi s 2,4%,
maslinici s 1,3% te rasadnici i košaračka vrba s 0,1%.

data on crop production cover utilised agricultural land by categories,
harvested areas and actual yield of crops, fruits and grapes. The utilised agricultural
area amounted to 1 326 083 ha, while the category arable land and gardens
had a share of 67.3%, kitchen gardens 0.3%, permanent grassland (meadows
and pastures) 26.1%, orchards 2.5%, vineyards 2.4%, olive groves 1.3% and
nurseries and osier willows 0.1%.

Ostvareni
prirod pšenice u 2011. iznosi 782 499 t, što je više za 15% od
prošlogodišnjega konačnog ostvarenog priroda. Također, povećanje priroda
bilježe i ostali važniji usjevi, i to: ječam (za 13%), suncokret (za 38%),
uljana repica (za 50%) te duhan (za 25%), dok su smanjeni ukupni prirodi
kukuruza (za 16%), soje (za 4%), šećerne repe i krumpira (za 6%) te nekih
krmnih usjeva (npr. lucerne za 14%, travno-djetelinskih smjesa (za 32%).
Povećan je ukupan prirod važnijih vrsta povrća i voća, i to: kupusa bijelog
(za 6%), paprika (za 8%), rajčica (za 6%), jabuka (za 6%), krušaka (za 2%),
bresaka i nektarina (za 33%) i marelica (za 41%). Smanjen je prirod šljiva
(za 10%), mandarina (za 24%), maslina (za 17%) te grožđa (za 2%) u odnosu
na konačne ostvarene prirode u 2010.

The
realised yield of wheat in 2011 was 782 499 tonnes, which was by 15% more
than the final actual yield last year. There was an increase recorded in
other important crops as well, as follows: barley by 13%, sunflowers by
38%, rapeseed by 50%, and tobacco by 25%, while the total yield of maize
decreased by 16%, soya-beans by 4% and of sugar beets and potatoes by 6% as
well as some forage crops, e.g. lucerne by 14% and grass-clover mixtures by
32%. The total yield of important sorts of vegetables and fruits increased,
as follows: white cabbage by 6%, red peppers by 8%, tomatoes by 6%, apples
by 6%, pears by 2%, peaches and nectarines by (33%) each and apricots by
41%. There was a decrease in the yield of plums by (10%), mandarins (24%),
olives (17%) and grapes (2%), as compared to the final actual yield in
2010.

Istraživanjem o površinama i nasadima na kraju
proljetne sjetve (PO-22) prikupljaju se podaci o površinama pod usjevima na
oranicama i vrtovima, u zaštićenom prostoru i povrtnjacima. Također su
prikupljeni podaci o ukupnim korištenim poljoprivrednim površinama po
kategorijama zemljišta.

The Report on Utilised Areas and Land Sown at the End
of Spring Harvest (PO-22 - forms) are used in the collection of data on
arable land, protected areas and kitchen gardens sawn. Data on the total
utilised agricultural areas by land categories are also collected.

Podaci o površinama odnose se na stanje 1. lipnja, a
predstavljaju zemljišne površine koje se koriste u odnosnoj godini, tj.
vlastite površine i površine uzete u zakup umanjene za površine dane u
zakup.

agricultural land refer to the situation as on 1 June and present
agricultural land used in a reference year, that is, own land and land
leased minus land rented.

voća (PO-32) prikupljaju se podaci o požnjevenim površinama i ostvarenim
prirodima ranih usjeva i voća. Podaci o požnjevenim površinama ranih usjeva
iskazuju se u hektarima, dok su proizvodnja i prirod po jednom hektaru
iskazani u tonama. Podaci o prirodima odnose se na stanje 15. kolovoza
2011.

crops and fruits are collected on the Report on Actual Yield of Early Crops
and Fruits (PO-32 forms). Data on harvested areas of early crops are
expressed in hectares, while the production and yield per hectare are

the production. Data on yields refer to
the situation as on 31 December 2011.

Sva navedena istraživanja obuhvaćaju sva
poljoprivredna gospodarstva, tj. poslovne subjekte i njihove dijelove i
obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva.

All mentioned surveys cover all
agricultural farms, that is, business entities and parts thereof as well as
private family farms.

Podaci za poslovne subjekte i njihove dijelove
prikupljaju se izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za
statistiku.

Data concerning business entities and parts thereof
are collected on reports that are submitted by mail to
the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.

Podaci za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva
prikupljeni su s pomoću anketara metodom intervjua na odabranome
stratificiranom uzorku. Uzorak za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva
izabran je iz Statističkog registra poljoprivrednih gospodarstava. Na
veličinu uzorka utjecala su sredstva odobrena u Državnom proračunu
Republike Hrvatske za 2011. i udio poljoprivrednih gospodarstava po
regijama.

Data for private family farms have been collected by using the interview method applied to a selected stratified sample.
The sample for private family farms was selected from the Statistical
Register of Agricultural Holdings. The sample size was conditioned
by the financial means allocated from the State Budget of the Republic of
Croatia for 2011 and the share of agricultural farms by statistical
regions.

Svi ekspandirani podaci uspoređeni su s podacima iz
prijašnjih godina, podacima Popisa poljoprivrede 2003. te raspoloživim
administrativnim izvorima (Upisnik
poljoprivrednih gospodarstava pri Agenciji za plaćanja u poljoprivredi,
ribarstvu i ruralnom razvoju te drugi). Na osnovi svih raspoloživih
podataka prema potrebi napravljene su korekcije.

All expanded data were compared
to data from previous years, the 2003 Agricultural Census data and data in
available administrative sources (the Farm Register of the Paying Agency
for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development etc.). All necessary
corrections were done on the basis of those available data.

thereof taken over from the Register of Business Entities, which are
defined in section A Agriculture, forestry and fishing according to the
National Classification of Activities, 2007 version (NN, Nos. 58/07 and

|
Korištena
poljoprivredna površina jest ukupna poljoprivredna površina koja
je bila korištena u dotičnoj godini. Poljoprivredno zemljište obuhvaća:
oranice i vrtove, povrtnjake, livade, pašnjake, rasadnike, voćnjake,
vinograde te površine pod košaračkom vrbom.

Utilised agricultural area is the
total agricultural area that was used for crop production in a year in
question. It covers arable land, kitchen gardens, meadows, pastures,
nurseries, orchards, vineyards and land with basket willow (osier).
|

|
|
|
|
Oranice
i vrtovi jesu zemljišta koja se redovito obrađuju i
kultiviraju i nalaze se pod sustavom plodoreda.
|
|
Arable land refers
to the land that is regularly farmed and cultivated and is under crop
rotation.

Na
oranicama i vrtovima uzgajaju se: žitarice, mahunarke za suho zrno,
korjenasti i gomoljasti usjevi, industrijski usjevi, krmno bilje, povrće,
cvijeće i ukrasno bilje te sjemenski i sadni materijal.

The
following plants are grown on arable land: cereals, pulses for dry grain,
root and tuber crops, industrial crops, fodder crops, vegetables, flowers
and horticultural plants as well as sowing and seeds and seedlings.

Povrtnjaci su
površine određene za uzgoj usjeva (pretežno povrća) namijenjenih za
potrošnju osobama koje žive u kućanstvu i uglavnom nisu namijenjeni za
prodaju. Samo povremeni višak proizvoda koji dolazi s tih površina prodaje
se izvan kućanstva.

Kitchen gardens are areas
scheduled for growing of crops (mostly vegetables) that are intended for
consumption by persons living in a household and that are mainly not
intended for sale. Only occasional surplus of products grown on these areas
is sold outside the household.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Root and tuber crops
include potatoes, sugar beet and fodder root crops (fodder beet, fodder
kale, fodder turnip and other fodder root crops).
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Industrial
crops include oil crops
(soya-bean, sunflowers, pumpkins for oil), tobacco, hops and other
industrial plants (spices, aromatic and medicinal herbs, and other
industrial plants.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Subsequent crops are
crops sown after the main crop in the same year. Subsequent crops include
stubble crops, which are sown after the harvest and mostly ripen in autumn.

|
|
|
|
|
|
Other vegetables
include sweet corn, potatoes etc.
|

|
|
|
|
|
Intensive (for market) orchards are
cultivated with a specific distance between the trees in which mechanised
cultivation can be performed. As a rule, they are larger plantations of
fruit trees (of 10 or more ares) or berries (excluding strawberries)
intended for fruit growing for sale.

|
|
|
|
|
|
Extensive (traditional) orchards are
country semi-intensive or extensive plantations of fruit trees of
predominantly old sorts intended mostly for own consumption. Included are
trees in (mixed) orchards as well as trees in yards, on boundary lines, by
roads, etc.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The total
production is a so-called stored production obtained after the harvest
by deduction of all the losses before the harvest and during the transport
and combine harvesting etc. Since the moisture of cereals may vary due to
the weather conditions, the actual yield is presented as an averagely moist
yield, that is, grains with 13% of moisture.
