EARLY ESTIMATES OF AREAS SOWN WITH IMPORTANT CROPS, 2012

U ovom priopćenju objavljuju se rane procjene zasijanih površina za najvažnije usjeve. Od odabranih najvažnijih ratarskih usjeva procjenjuje se da je površina zasijana pšenicom povećana za 14%, suncokretom i šećernom repom za 5% i krumpirom za 6% u odnosu na zasijane površine u 2011. Procjenjuje se da su smanjene površine zasijane uljanom repicom za 37%, sojom za 7% te kukuruzom za 5% u odnosu na zasijane površine u 2011.

In this release, early estimates of areas sown with the most important crops are issued. As compared to 2011, regarding the selected most important crops, it is estimated that there was an increase for the areas sown with wheat (14%), sunflowers and sugar beets (5%) and potatoes (6%). The decrease was estimated for the areas sown with rape seed (37%), soya beans  (7%) and maize (5%), as compared to sown areas in 2011.

Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka			Sources and methods of data collection
Podaci o ranim procjenama o zasijanim površinama za važnije ratarske usjeve odnose se na stanje 1. lipnja. Ti su podaci prve informacije koje objavljuje Državni zavod za statistiku o stanju zasijanih površina na kraju proljetne sjetve. Obuhvaćeni su sljedeći usjevi: pšenica, kukuruz, soja, uljana repica, suncokret, šećerna repa i krumpir.			Data on early estimates of areas sown with important crops refer to the situation as on 1 June. These data are first information issued by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics on the situation of land sown at the end of spring harvest. The following crops are included: wheat, maize, soya beans, rape seed, sunflowers, sugar beets and potatoes.
Podaci o zasijanim površinama za važnije usjeve ocijenjeni su u Državnom zavodu za statistiku na temelju:			Data on land sown with important crops have been estimated by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics on the following bases:
-	rezultata Izvještaja o površinama i nasadima na kraju proljetne sjetve u 2011. (obrazac PO-22)		-	results of the Report on Utilised Areas and Land Sown at the End of Spring Harvest in 2011 (PO-22 form),
-	rezultata Izvještaja o jesenskoj sjetvi u 2011. (obrazac PO-21)		-	results of the Report on Autumn Harvest in 2011 (PO-21 form),
-	raspoloživih administrativnih izvora Ministarstva poljoprivrede, Upisnika poljoprivrednih gospodarstava pri Agenciji za plaćanja u poljoprivredi, ribarstvu i ruralnom razvoju te drugi.		-	available administrative sources of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Farm Register of the Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development etc.
Obuhvat i usporedivost			Coverage and comparability
Izvještajne jedinice jesu poslovni subjekti i dijelovi poslovnih subjekata koji su definirani područjem A Poljoprivreda, šumarstvo i ribarstvo prema NKD-u 2007. Obuhvat je selektivan. Podaci se prikupljaju izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.			Reporting units are business entities and parts thereof defined in section A Agriculture, forestry and fishing according to the NKD 2007. The coverage is selective. Data are collected on reports that are sent by mail to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
Izvještajne jedinice su također i obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva koja obavljaju poljoprivrednu proizvodnju, a njihovi podaci prikupljeni su uz pomoć anketara.			Reporting units are also private family farms engaged in agricultural production, for which interviewers collect data.
