Ukupna proizvodnja mlijeka na obiteljskim poljoprivrednim gospodarstvima u 2011. u odnosu na 2010. bilježi povećanje za 7,7%. Istodobno je količina mlijeka koju su gospodarstva predala u otkup mljekarama u padu za 2%.	In 2011, as compared to 2010, the total production of milk at private family farms increased by 7.7%. At the same time, the quantities of milk delivered to dairies decreased by 2%.
Količina mlijeka utrošena unutar kućanstva u svježem stanju povećana je za 13,2% u odnosu na prethodnu godinu. Također je zabilježen rast izravne prodaje mlijeka (za 17,3%) te upotrebe mlijeka za ishranu stoke (za 70,9%).	The quantity of fresh milk used in a household increased by 13.2% compared to the previous year. The direct sale of milk increased by 17.3% and the quantity of milk used for animal feedingstuffs by 70.9%.
U preradi mlijeka na gospodarstvu bilježi se povećanje za 48,7% u količini upotrijebljenoj za proizvodnju vrhnja, maslaca, sireva i ostalih proizvoda.	Concerning the processing of milk at farms, there was a increase of 48.7% in the quantities used for the production of cream, butter, cheese and other products.
Što se tiče ostvarenih proizvoda u 2011., količina proizvedenog vrhnja veća je za 43,4%, maslaca za 37,5%, svježeg sira za 37,9% te ostalih sireva za 25,9%, dok je količina proizvedenih ostalih proizvoda manja za 9,1%.	As for products obtained in 2011, the quantity of produced cream increased by 43.4%, of butter by 37.5%, of fresh cheese by 37.9%, other types of cheese by 25.9%, while the quantity of produced other products decreased by 9.1%.

Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka		Sources and methods of data collection
Podaci o godišnjoj proizvodnji mlijeka na poljoprivrednim gospodarstvima prikupljaju se u okviru redovitoga godišnjeg istraživanja o broju stoke i stočnoj proizvodnji koje se provodi na uzorku.		Data on the annual milk production at agricultural farms are collected as a part of a regular annual survey on the number of livestock and livestock production, which is done by using the sampling method.
Uzorak za Godišnji izvještaj o stočarstvu 1. prosinca 2011. izabran je na bazi Statističkog registra poljoprivrednih gospodarstava i ima oko 8 000 jedinica.		The Sample for the Annual Report on Livestock Production of 1 December 2011 has been selected on the basis of the Statistical Register of Agricultural Holdings and numbers about 8 000 units.
Obuhvat i usporedivost		Coverage and comparability
Izvještajne jedinice za Godišnji izvještaj o stočarstvu obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava jesu poljoprivredna kućanstva koja se bave uzgojem stoke i peradi.		Reporting units for the Annual Report on Livestock Production on Agricultural Farms are private family farms engaged in the breeding of livestock and poultry.
Ukupna količina mlijeka koje su mljekare otkupile od proizvođača (podatak SLKM-a objavljen u Priopćenju br. 1.1.26.) veća je od podatka navedenog u ovom priopćenju jer su ovdje uključena samo obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva.		The total quantity of milk delivered to dairies (the Central Laboratory for Milk Control data published in the first release No. 1.1.26.) exceeds a figure issued in this first release due to the fact that it includes only private family farms.
Definicije		Definitions
Ukupna proizvodnja mlijeka obuhvaća kravlje, ovčje i kozje mlijeko dobiveno mužnjom. Količine raspoloživog mlijeka i način korištenja izraženi su u tonama. Koeficijent za preračun mlijeka iznosi 1,03 (1l = 1,03 kg).		Total milk production includes cows’, ewes’ and goats’ milk obtained by milking. Quantities of available milk and its usage are expressed in tonnes. The conversion coefficient for milk is 1.03 (1l = 1.03 kg).
Dano u otkup obuhvaća isporuke mljekarama svih tipova mlijeka (kravlje, ovčje i kozje).		Delivered to diaries includes deliveries of all types of milk (cows’, ewes’ and goats’).
Kućna potrošnja obuhvaća cjelovito mlijeko konzumirano na gospodarstvu (samo za ljudsku potrošnju).		Home consumption includes whole milk consumed by a holder’s household (for human consumption only).
Izravna prodaja obuhvaća izravnu prodaju na gospodarstvu ili tržnici te darivanje cjelovitog mlijeka za ljudsku potrošnju krajnjim potrošačima.		Direct sales include the direct sale at agricultural farm or market as well as delivering of the whole milk for human consumption directly to final consumers (sold or given).
Mlijeko za ishranu stoke obuhvaća cjelovito mlijeko korišteno na gospodarstvu kao stočna hrana (čisto ili pomiješano s ostalom stočnom hranom).		Milk for feedingstuffs includes whole milk used on the farm for animal feedingstuffs (either as they are or as a compound of other animal feedingstuffs).
Razlika i gubici obuhvaćaju statističku razliku i gubitke mlijeka tijekom procesa proizvodnje.		Differences and Losses refers to the statistical difference and the quantities of milk lost during manufacturing.
Ostvareni proizvodi obuhvaćaju vrhnje, maslac, sireve i ostale proizvode dobivene preradom mlijeka na gospodarstvu. Količina je izražena u neto iznosu u tonama.		Products obtained include cream, butter, cheese and other products obtained by milk processing on farm. Quantities are expressed as net amounts in tonnes.
