Izvještaj o strukturi valionica podnosi se za registrirane valionice koje su u izvještajnoj godini imale ostvarenu proizvodnju odnosno za one valionice u kojima je bilo valenja peradi.	The Report on the Structure of Hatcheries is submitted only for registered hatcheries that realised a production in a reference year, that is, for those in which there were hatching of poultry.
Podaci o broju, kapacitetu i korištenju valionica za valenje pataka, gusaka, pura te određenih kategorija valionica kokoši, pijetlova i pilića zaštićeni su u skladu sa Zakonom o službenoj statistici (NN, br. 103/03., 75/09. i 59/12.).	Data on the number, capacity and usage of hatcheries for hatching of all categories of ducks, geese and turkeys as well as on particular categories of hatcheries of hens, cocks and chickens are protected in line with the Official Statistics Act (NN, Nos. 103/03, 75/09 and 59/12).
Zbog tog je razloga za patke, guske i pure dan zbirni pregled u pogledu broja, kapaciteta i korištenja za sve valionice bez obzira na veličinu kategorije.	This is the reason why for ducks, geese and turkeys there is only an aggregated review concerning the number, capacity and usage for all hatcheries, irrespective of size categories.

Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka		Sources and methods of data collection
Podaci o strukturi valionica prikupljaju se od valionica koje se bave proizvodnjom jednodnevne peradi. Tim se istraživanjem prikupljaju podaci o ukupnom kapacitetu valionice te o ukupnom broju jaja stavljenih na inkubaciju tijekom izvještajne godine prema vrsti peradi, kategoriji i tipu.		Data on the structure of hatcheries are collected from hatcheries engaged in the production of day-old poultry chicks. This survey enables the collection of data on the total capacity of hatcheries and on the total number of incubated eggs during a reference year, according to the kind of poultry, category and type.
Obuhvat i usporedivost		Coverage and comparability
Izvještajne jedinice za koje se podnose godišnji izvještaji o strukturi jesu valionice u domaćinstvima, obrtničke i industrijske valionice koje se bave djelatnošću valenja peradi, a razvrstane su u područje A Poljoprivreda, šumarstvo i ribarstvo, razred 01.47, te ostali koji su razvrstani drugdje, a bave se navedenom djelatnošću. Adresar valionica preuzet je od Ministarstva poljoprivrede, ribarstva i ruralnog razvoja.		Reporting units included in the annual reports on the structure are hatcheries in households, private commercial hatcheries and industrial hatcheries engaged in hatching of poultry, which are classified in section A Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing, class 01.47, as well as other entities classified elsewhere but engaged in the said activity. The address book of hatcheries has been taken over from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development.
Podaci za valionice koje se bave valenjem više vrsta peradi prikazuju se odvojeno za svaku vrstu.		Data on hatcheries engaged in hatching of more than one kind of poultry are presented separately for each kind.
Definicije		Definitions
Kategorija veličine označuje razred veličine valionice s obzirom na njezin ukupni kapacitet izražen u broju jaja.		Size category denotes a size class of a hatchery in relation to its total capacity expressed in the number of eggs.
Broj označuje ukupan broj valionica u odgovarajućoj kategoriji veličine valionice.		Number denotes the total number of hatcheries within a respective size capacity of a hatchery.
Kapacitet označuje maksimalan broj jaja za valenje koja mogu biti istodobno stavljena u inkubatore.		Capacity denotes the maximum number of eggs for hatching that may be placed simultaneously in incubators.
Korištenje označuje stvarnu iskoristivost inkubatora unutar valionice s obzirom na broj jaja stavljenih na valenje tijekom izvještajne godine.		Usage denotes an actual exploitability of incubators in a hatchery in relation to the number of eggs set for hatching during a reference year.
