U 2011. izdano je 6 435 odobrenja za uporabu građevina, što je za 3,4% više nego u 2010.		There were 6 435 use permits issued in 2011, which was by 3.4% more than in 2010.
U 2011:		In 2011:
-	prema vrstama građevina, 90,2% od ukupno izdanih odobrenja za uporabu građevina izdano je za zgrade, a 9,8% za ostale građevine	-	by type of constructions, 90.2% out of the total number of use permits were issued on buildings and 9.8% on civil engineering works.
-	prema vrstama gradnje, 79,8% odobrenja za uporabu građevina izdano je za novogradnju, a 20,2% za rekonstrukcije.	-	by type of works, 79.8% of use permits were issued on new constructions and 20.2% on reconstructions.

U ovom priopćenju iskazani su podaci prikupljeni izvještajnom metodom s pomoću obrasca Godišnji izvještaj o izdanim odobrenjima za uporabu građevina (GRAĐ-44b).		Data presented in this publication are collected through reporting methods using the Annual Report on Use Permits Issued (GRAĐ-44b form).

Godišnji izvještaj o izdanim odobrenjima za uporabu građevina prikuplja se od nadležnih upravnih tijela županija, velikih gradova i gradova sjedišta županija, Grada Zagreba te Ministarstva graditeljstva i prostornog uređenja, koja izdaju akte kojima se na temelju Zakona o prostornom uređenju i gradnji (NN, br. 76./07., 38./09., 55./11., 90./11. i 50./12.) odobrava uporaba građevina.		The Annual Report on Use Permits Issued is collected from the competent administration bodies in counties, major cities and county seats as well as the administrative body of the City of Zagreb and the Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning, which issue documents specified in the Physical Planning and Building Act (NN, Nos. 76/07, 38/09, 55/11, 90/11 and 50/12), by which the approval for the use of buildings is granted.
Pri korištenju podataka objavljenih u ovom priopćenju treba uzeti u obzir da su se do 2007. prema Zakonu o gradnji (NN, br. 175/03.) ovim izvještajem prikupljale samo izdane uporabne dozvole, a prema novom Zakonu o prostornom uređenju i gradnji (NN, br. 76/07., 38/09., 55/11., 90/11. i 50/12.) uporaba građevina odobrava se i drugim aktima: potvrdom nadležnog tijela da mu je investitor dostavio završno izvješće nadzornog inženjera o izvedbi građevine, konačnim rješenjem o izvedenom stanju, potvrdom izvedenog stanja i uvjerenjima za uporabu.		When using data published in this release, it should be kept in mind that, according to the Construction Act (NN, No. 175/03), only issued data on use permits were collected by this Survey, while according to the new Physical Planning and Building Act (NN, Nos. 76/07, 38/09, 55/11, 90/11 and 50/12), the use of buildings is granted by issuing other documents as well, such as confirmation of a competent administrative body received a final report prepared by the supervising engineer on the construction of the construction work, a decision on the as-built state, a certificate of the as-built state and certificates for use.
Podaci o vrstama građevina i radova razvrstani su prema Nacionalnoj klasifikaciji vrsta građevina – NKVG (Metodološke upute br. 41, ISBN 953-6667-33-9, DZS, 2002.). Ta klasifikacija usklađena je s klasifikacijom koju propisuje Statistički ured Europske unije (Classification of Types of Constructions-CC, final version).		Data on type of constructions and works are classified according to the National Classification of Types of Construction – NKVG (Methodologies No. 41, ISBN 953-6667-33-9, CBS, 2002). This Classification is harmonised with the classification prescribed by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Classification of Types of Constructions-CC, final version).
Definicije		Definitions
Građevine su objekti povezani s tlom nastali izvođenjem  građevinskih radova, a načinjene su od građevinskog materijala i gotovih proizvoda za ugradnju.		Constructions are structures connected with the ground, for which construction works are carried out, and which are made of construction materials and ready-made components.
Zgrade su stalne građevine koje imaju krovište i vanjske zidove, sagrađene su kao samostalne uporabne cjeline koje pružaju zaštitu od vremenskih i drugih vanjskih utjecaja, a namijenjene su stanovanju, obavljanju neke djelatnosti ili smještaju i čuvanju životinja, robe, opreme za različite proizvodne i uslužne djelatnosti itd.		Buildings are permanent constructions covered with roof and closed with outer walls. They are built as separate useful units that protect from weather and other external conditions, intended for dwelling, for performing a certain activity or for placing and up-keeping animals, goods, equipment used in various industrial activities and services etc.
U ovom istraživanju zgradama se smatraju i građevine koje imaju krov, ali nemaju (sve) zidove, npr. nadstrešnice te građevine koje su pretežno ili potpuno smještene ispod površine zemlje, npr. skloništa, podzemne garaže, prodavaonice i drugi poslovni prostori u pothodnicima i slično.		In this survey, buildings are also constructions covered with roof but without (some of the) walls, that is, porches and underground constructions, for example, underground shelters, underground garages, underground shopping centres and other business spaces (e.g. in subways) etc.
Stambene zgrade jesu građevine u kojima je 50% ili više ukupne korisne podne površine zgrade namijenjeno stambenim svrhama.		Residential buildings are constructions in which 50% or more of useful floor area is intended for dwelling purposes.
Nestambene zgrade jesu građevine koje nemaju stambene površine ili je manje od 50% ukupne korisne podne površine zgrade namijenjeno stambenim svrhama.		Non-residential buildings are constructions without dwelling area, in which less than 50% of the overall useful floor area is used for dwelling purposes.
površina zgrade jest zbroj površina svih etaža u zgradi koje su obuhvaćene vanjskim zidovima.		Floor area of buildings is a sum total of area of all floors of the building placed inside the outer walls.
Korisna površina stana jest podna površina stana mjerena unutar zidova stana.		Useful floor area of a dwelling is a floor area of the dwelling, measured inside the walls of the dwelling.
volumen zgrade jest zbroj volumena svih natkrivenih dijelova zgrade uključujući vanjske zidove.		Volume of building is sum total of volumes of all roofed over space of the building, including outer walls.
Ostale građevine jesu sve građevine koje nisu zgrade, npr. ceste, pruge, cjevovodi, mostovi, brane, sportski tereni itd.		Civil engineering works are all constructions not classified under buildings, e.g., roads, railways, pipelines, bridges, dams, constructions intended for sport and recreation, etc.
Novogradnja je gradnja nove građevine na mjestu na kojem prije nije bilo nikakve građevine ili je postojala, ali je uklonjena.		New construction is a newly-built structure built on a location where no structure existed or on a location previously cleared by demolition.
rekonstrukcije su građevinski radovi kojima se utječe na bitna svojstva postojećih građevina, npr. dogradnja i nadogradnja, prenamjena i drugi radovi kojima se bitno poboljšava uporabna vrijednost građevine (npr. kapacitet, kvaliteta, funkcija) i/ili kojima se produžuje ili barem obnavlja njezino trajanje.		Reconstructions are construction works that affect main characteristics of already existing constructions, e.g. additions and extensions, conversions and other works, which may significantly improve the use value of a construction (e.g. capacity, quality, function) and/or prolong or at least restore its duration.
