FOREIGN VESSELS ON CRUISE IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

U razdoblju od siječnja do lipnja 2012. ostvareno je 290 kružnih putovanja stranih brodova u Republici Hrvatskoj. Na tim brodovima bilo je 380 967 putnika, koji su u Republici Hrvatskoj boravili ukupno 556 dana, što je u prosjeku dva dana.	In the period from January to June 2012, foreign vessels realised 290 cruises in the Republic of Croatia. During these cruises, the total of 380 967 passengers arrived. They stayed for 556 days in the Republic of Croatia, that is, 2 days on the average.
U strukturi kružnih putovanja stranih brodova najviše stranih brodova na kružnim putovanjima svoj prvi ulazak u teritorijalno more Republike Hrvatske evidentiralo je u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj (73,8%) i Splitsko- -dalmatinskoj županiji (15,9%), što je ukupno 89,7%. Ostalih 10,3% stranih brodova na kružnim putovanjima svoj prvi ulazak u teritorijalno more Republike Hrvatske evidentiralo je u ostale četiri županije: Šibensko-kninskoj (4,4%), Istarskoj (2,8%), Primorsko-goranskoj (1,7%) te Zadarskoj (1,4%).	The structure of foreign vessels on cruise shows that the majority of foreign vessels on cruise recorded their first entry into the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia in the County of Dubrovnik-Neretva (73.8%) and the County of Split-Dalmatia (15.9%), which makes the total of 89.7%. The rest of 10.3% of foreign vessels on cruise recorded their first entry into the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia in the remaining four counties: the County of Šibenik-Knin (4.4%), the County of Istria (2.8%), the County of Primorje-Gorski kotar (1.7%) and the County of Zadar (1.4%).
U odnosu na isto razdoblje 2011., broj putovanja veći je za 1,8%, dok je broj putnika koji su na taj način ušli u Republiku Hrvatsku veći za 2,9%. Ukupan broj dana boravka tih putnika u istom razdoblju manji je za 10,8%.	As compared to the same period of 2011, the number of cruises increased by 1.8%, while the number of passengers entering the Republic of Croatia in this manner increased by 2.9%. In the same period, the total number of passengers’ sojourns in Croatia was by 10.8% lower.

Od 2010. izvor podataka za statistiku kružnih putovanja stranih brodova u morskim lukama jesu izvještaji Ministarstva pomorstva, prometa i infrastrukture: Prijava o dolasku broda u luku i Prijava o odlasku broda iz luke (obrasci PP/m-31a i PP/m-31b). Državni zavod za statistiku preuzima bazu podataka od Ministarstva pomorstva, prometa i infrastrukture te je dalje statistički obrađuje.	Since 2010, the following reports of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure have been used as the data source for the cruises of foreign vessels statistics in seaports: the Report on the Entry of a Vessel to Seaport and the Report on the Exit of a Vessel from Seaport (PP/m-31a and PP/m-31b forms). The Croatian Bureau of Statistics takes over the data base from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure and further processes it statistically.
Do 2010. izvor podataka bilo je redovito istraživanje Kružna putovanja stranih brodova u Republici Hrvatskoj (obrazac TU-19), koje se provodilo u mjesečnoj periodici. Prikupljanje podataka za to istraživanje provodilo se izvještajnom metodom. Izvještajne jedinice za istraživanje bile su lučke uprave. Izvještaj se ispunjavao u lučkoj upravi u čiju luku brod prvi put ulazi u teritorijalno more Republike Hrvatske.	Until 2010, the data source was the regular survey entitled Cruises of Foreign Vessels in the Republic of Croatia (TU-19 form), carried out on a monthly basis. The data collection for that survey was done by using the reporting method. Reporting units were port authorities. The report was filled in by a port authority that was in charge of a port of the first entrance of a vessel into the Croatian internal sea waters.

Jedinica promatranja za ovo istraživanje jest strani brod koji je na turističkome kružnom putovanju i ulazi u teritorijalno more Republike Hrvatske.	Observation unit for this survey is a foreign vessel on a tourist cruise that enters the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia.
Obradom su obuhvaćene samo luke prvog ulaska stranog broda na turističkome kružnom putovanju u teritorijalno more Republike Hrvatske.	The analysis covers only seaports of the first entrance of a foreign vessel on a tourist cruise into the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia.
Definicije	Definitions
Kružno putovanje jest turističko putovanje od nekoliko dana prema određenom itinereru (razrađenom planu putovanja) kružnog tipa.	A cruise is a tourist journey that lasts for several days according to a specified itinerary (elaborated plan of a journey) for cruises.
Broj putnika na brodu jest broj putnika na brodu bez članova posade. Pod pojmom putnika podrazumijeva se svaka osoba koja je doputovala brodom, bez obzira na dob, a nije član posade.	Number of cruise passengers is the number of passengers excluding the crew. A cruise passenger is any person who arrived by ship irrespective of age, providing that he/she is not a crew member.
Ukupan broj dana boravka broda u teritorijalnome moru Republike Hrvatske jest ukupan broj dana koje brod provede u teritorijalnome moru Republike Hrvatske.	The total number of sojourns in the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia represents the total number of days a ship spends in the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia.
