AUTUMN SOWING, situation as on 10 November 2012

U 2012. površina pod žitaricama i uljanom repicom u jesenskoj sjetvi iznosi 272 990 ha.	In the 2012 autumn sowing, the land sown with cereals and rapeseed amounted to 272 990 ha.
U strukturi ukupnih površina žitarica zasijanih u jesenskoj sjetvi u 2012. najviše su zastupljene pšenica (72%) i ječam (18%). U odnosu na prošlu godinu, površine zasijane u jesenskoj sjetvi povećane su za 11%. Površine pod žitaricama povećane su za 10%.	In regard to the structure of the land sown with cereals in the 2012 autumn sowing, the major area was sown with wheat (72%) and barley (18%). As compared to the last year, the total land sown in the autumn sowing increased by 11%. The land sown with cereals increased by 10%.

Izvor i metode prikupljanja podataka		Source and methods of data collection
Izvještajem o jesenskoj sjetvi prikupljaju se podaci o površinama zasijanima u jesenskoj sjetvi. Podaci se iskazuju u hektarima.Ti podaci prikupljeni su posebno za poslovne subjekte i njihove dijelove, a posebno za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva. Podaci za poslovne subjekte prikupljaju se izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.		The Report on Autumn Sowing collects data on land sown in autumn. Data on land sown are presented in hectares. These data are collected separately for business entities and parts thereof and for private family farms. Data for business entities are collected on reports, which are then submitted to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics by postal service.
Podaci za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva prikupljeni su s pomoću anketara metodom intervjua na odabranome stratificiranom uzorku. Uzorak za obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva izabran je iz Statističkog registra poljoprivrednih gospodarstava.		Data for private family farms are collected by using the interview method applied to a selected stratified sample. The sample for private family farms was selected from the Statistical Register of Agricultural Holdings.
Na veličinu uzorka utjecala su odobrena sredstva u Državnom proračunu Republike Hrvatske za 2012. i udio poljoprivrednih gospodarstava po regijama.		The sample size was conditioned by the financial means allocated from the 2012 State Budget of the Republic of Croatia and the share of agricultural farms by regions.
U uzorak je odabrano oko 7 000 obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava.		The sample consisted of about 7 000 private family farms.
Svi podaci uspoređeni su s podacima iz prijašnjih godina te raspoloživim administrativnim izvorima (Upisnik poljoprivrednih gospodarstava pri Agenciji za plaćanja u poljoprivredi, ribarstvu i ruralnom razvoju te drugi). Na temelju svih raspoloživih podataka prema potrebi napravljene su korekcije.		All data have been compared to data from previous years and available administrative sources (the Farm Register of the Paying Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development etc). On the basis of all available data, corrections were done if necessary.
Podaci o površinama odnose se na stanje 10. studenoga 2012.		Data on land sown refer to the situation as on 10 November 2012.
Obuhvat i usporedivost		Coverage and comparability
Izvještajne jedinice jesu poslovni subjekti i dijelovi poslovnih subjekata koji su preuzeti iz Registra poslovnih subjekata, a definirani su područjem A Poljoprivreda, šumarstvo i ribarstvo prema NKD-u 2007. Obuhvat je selektivan. Podaci se prikupljaju izvještajima koji se poštom dostavljaju Državnom zavodu za statistiku.		Reporting units are business entities and parts thereof taken over from the Register of Business Entities, which are defined in section A Agriculture, forestry and fishing according to the NKD 2007. The selective coverage is applied. Data are collected on reports, which are then submitted to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics by postal service.
Izvještajne jedinice jesu i obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva koja obavljaju poljoprivrednu proizvodnju, a njihovi podaci prikupljeni su uz pomoć anketara.		Reporting units are also private family farms engaged in agricultural production, for which interviewers collected data.
