The number of journeys of foreign vessels on cruise in the Croatian Adriatic continued to decline significantly

 

 

 

Okolnosti koje je prouzročilo daljnje širenje bolesti COVID-19 izravno su utjecale na daljnji pad broja stranih brodova za kružna putovanja na hrvatskom Jadranu u razdoblju od siječnja do studenoga 2020. te na njihov nedolazak u studenome 2020.

 

The circumstances that were caused by the further spread of the COVID-19 disease directly affected the further decline in the number of foreign vessels on cruise in the Croatian Adriatic in the period from January to November 2020 and their absence in November 2020.

 

 

 

U razdoblju od siječnja do studenoga 2020. broj stranih brodova za kružna putovanja u hrvatskim morskim lukama manji je za 86,7% u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2019.

 

In the period from January to November 2020, the number of foreign vessels on cruise in Croatian seaports was 86.7% lower than in the same period of 2019.

 

 

 

U prvih jedanaest mjeseci 2020. broj putovanja stranih brodova za kružna putovanja manji je za 96,3% i broj dana boravka brodova na hrvatskom Jadranu za 91,2% u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2019. Broj putnika na tim brodovima u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2019. manji je za 99,6%.

 

In the first eleven months of 2020, the number of journeys of foreign vessels on cruise decreased by 96.3% and the number of sojourns in the Croatian Adriatic by 91.2%, as compared to the same period of 2019. The number of passengers on board these vessels decreased by 99.6%, as compared to the same period of 2019.

 

 

 

U prvih jedanaest mjeseci 2020. ostvareno 26 kružnih putovanja stranih brodova

 

In the first eleven months of 2020, a total of 26 journeys of foreign vessels on cruise were realised

 

 

 

U razdoblju od siječnja do studenoga 2020. u hrvatske morske luke uplovilo je deset stranih brodova za kružna putovanja, koji su ostvarili 26 kružnih putovanja. Na tim brodovima bilo je 4 138 putnika, koji su u Hrvatskoj boravili 124 dana.

 

 

In the period from January to November 2020, ten foreign vessels on cruise arrived in Croatian seaports, which realised 26 journeys. There were 4 138 passengers on board these vessels, who stayed for
124 days in Croatia.

Od ukupno 26 kružnih putovanja, 84,6% putovanja ostvareno je u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji, dok je ostalih 15,4% putovanja ostvareno u Istarskoj županiji.

 

Out of the total of 26 journeys of foreign vessels on cruise, 84.6% were realised in the County of Dubrovnik-Neretva, while the remaining 15.4% of journeys were realised in the County of Istria.

Svrha statističkog istraživanja

 

The purpose of the statistical survey

 

 

 

Svrha statističkog istraživanja jest praćenje ulazaka stranih brodova za kružna putovanja u teritorijalno more Republike Hrvatske, broja putnika na brodu te dana boravka broda u teritorijalnome moru Republike Hrvatske. Rezultati ovog istraživanja daju pokazatelje potrebne za analizu turizma u Republici Hrvatskoj.

 

The statistical survey is aimed at monitoring the entries of foreign vessels on cruise in the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia, the number of passengers aboard and the days in which a ship stays in the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia. The results of this survey provide indicators used in the analysis of tourism in the Republic of Croatia.

Istraživanje se provodi prema Zakonu o službenoj statistici (NN, br. 25/20.) i Godišnjemu provedbenom planu statističkih aktivnosti Republike Hrvatske 2020. godine (NN, br. 12/20.).

 

The survey is carried out on the basis of the Official Statistics Act (NN, No. 25/20) and the Annual Implementation Plan of Statistical Activities of the Republic of Croatia 2020 (NN, No. 12/20).

Sources and methods of data collection

 

 

 

Izvor podataka za statističko istraživanje o kružnim putovanjima stranih brodova u Republici Hrvatskoj jest Hrvatski integrirani pomorski informacijski sustav (CIMIS). Državni zavod za statistiku preuzima dio baze podataka od Ministarstva mora, prometa i infrastrukture te je dalje statistički obrađuje.

 

The data source for the statistical survey on cruises of foreign vessels in the Republic of Croatia is the Croatian Integrated Maritime Information System (CIMIS). The Croatian Bureau of Statistics takes over a part of the database from the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, after which it performs further processing.

 

 

 


U sustav CIMIS, putem ovlaštenih pomorskih agenata i brodara, brodovi dostavljaju, među ostalim podacima, i podatke o brodu, putovanju i putnicima. Točnost i cjelovitost podataka u službenom postupku prijave verificira lučka kapetanija.

 

Among other data, ships submit information on the ship, journey and passengers to this system through authorised maritime agents and shippers. The accuracy and completeness of the data in the official proceedings of registration is verified by the harbour master’s offices.

Jedinica promatranja za ovo istraživanje jest strani brod koji je na turističkome kružnom putovanju i ulazi u teritorijalno more Republike Hrvatske.

 

Observation unit for this survey is a foreign vessel on a tourist cruise that enters the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia.

 

 

 

Podaci o kružnim putovanjima stranih brodova obuhvaćaju samo morske luke prvog ulaska stranog broda za kružno putovanje u teritorijalno more Republike Hrvatske (tablica 1., tablica 2. i tablica 3.).

 

Data on foreign vessels on cruise cover only seaports of the first entry of a foreign vessel into the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia (table 1, table 2 and table 3).

Brod za kružna putovanja jest putnički brod čija namjena nije prijevoz osoba od jedne luke do druge luke odredišta, nego je namijenjen za uživanje u putovanju i sadržajima na brodu (luksuznom ugođaju, avanturama, obrazovanju, kulturi, zabavi, sportskim aktivnostima, wellnessu ili rekreaciji). Opremljen je za višednevni boravak putnika i mora pružati usluge prehrane, pića i napitaka te usluge smještaja. Brod za kružna putovanja pristaje na svojem putu u lukama koje su zanimljive turističke destinacije.

 

Foreign vessel on cruise means a passenger ship intended rather to provide passengers with a pleasure of a journey and facilities for entertainment aboard (luxurious atmosphere, adventures, education, culture, entertainment, sports activities, wellness or recreation) than the transport of persons from one seaport to another. It is equipped for a multi-day stay of passengers aboard and must provide food, drinks and accommodation services. On its journey, a foreign vessel on cruise stops in seaports of several interesting destinations.

 

 

 

Putovanje je ulazak stranog broda za kružna putovanja u prvu luku teritorijalnog mora Republike Hrvatske.

 

A journey is an entry of a foreign vessel on cruise into the first seaport of the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia.

 

 

 

Putnici na brodu jesu osobe koje su doputovale brodom, bez obzira na dob. Članovi posade na brodu ne smatraju se putnicima.

 

Passengers on board are any persons who arrived by ship irrespective of age, providing that he/she is not a crew member.

 

 

 

Dani boravka broda čine ukupan broj dana koje brod provede u teritorijalnome moru Republike Hrvatske.

 

Sojourns represent a total number of days a ship spends in the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia.

 

 

 

Zastava broda predstavlja državu u kojoj je brod registriran, odnosno upisan u upisnik brodova te je u skladu s njezinim zakonodavstvom.

 

Flag of vessel represents the country in which a ship is registered, that is, entered into the ship registry and is bound by its laws.
